"Banking Queen" Rep. Barney Frank Causes Scene Demanding Discount

Rep. Barney Frank causes scene demanding discount

Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank caused a scene when he demanded a $1 senior discount on his ferry fare to Fire Island's popular gay haunt, The Pines, last Friday.

Frank was turned down by ticket clerks at the dock in Sayville because he didn't have the required Suffolk County Senior Citizens ID. A witness reports, "Frank made such a drama over the senior rate that I contemplated offering him the dollar to cool down the situation." Frank made news last year when he was spotted looking uncomfortable around a bevy of topless, well-built men at the Pines Annual Ascension Beach Party.

Frank's spokesperson confirmed to Page Six that his partner, James Ready, asked the ticket office for a regular ticket for himself and a senior ticket for Frank, "but was turned down because Frank didn't have a resident ID."

Wild Thing's comment.......

Caused a scene when he took a ferry to the gay hotspot? You can’t make this stuff up!!

He mocks tea partiers for being upset when he and his cronies spend America into oblivion. But that’s “other people’s money”, so Bawney doesn’t see what we’re upset about.

But refuse him a one dollar discount and he throws a hissy fit (or should that be sissy fit).

If politicians got that worked-up about the correct & efficient use of tax-dollars we wouldn’t be in the financial state we are as a nation today.

A Ferry ride, on a boat, I didn't know they had a navy. What a cheap bastard.

How sad. The fairy did not get a discount on the ferry ride to fairyland. I guess he will introduce in Congress a bill to rectify that.

Combine this with the Boxer incident, you reported yesterday and you can see why the Congress has an 11% approval rating, among the citizenry.

Boxer, Frank, Rangel, Dodd, Pelosi, The list is endless.

If the American voters do not see the necessity of voting all of the POS' out in November, then we are definitely screwed, as our children and generations to come.

Final note, this may be our last chance, as there is a strongly supported movement afoot to do away with the Electoral College.

Is not Barny the original Credit Fairy?
I know the ad counsil trys to convence everyone that the Credit fairy does not exist but I know lots of New Englanders who were appproved for loans that they could not afford. I can only assume that the Credit Fairy was behind the mischif.

Someone should have told Frank it was a taxpayers dollar and not his. He would have had no qualms then about having to pay the dollar.

Hi BobF,
It probably was a taxpayer dollar because he gets paid feeding off the public trough. I agree guys, too bad the fairy boat didn't sink and take him along with it.
