Home Depot Official Sponsor of Which Country's World Cup Soccer Team????
Home Depot official sponsor of which country's World Cup soccer team?
As the US meets England in World Cup soccer play, one of America's major retailers is celebrating by backing the team of our neighbor Mexico.
I suppose the influx of Latin Americans into the construction industry might have something to do with this. Still it does seem a bit odd that Home Depot offers no support to the US soccer team.
.
Web site,
The site lists 200-plus companies, some of which are in San Diego County.
On the site, people are invited from around the country to post complaints about specific companies, from large corporations to mom-and-pop businesses. Also posted are addresses, phone numbers, corporate logos and even photographs in some cases.
.
And this from AP
Home Depot and Illegal immigrants
PHOENIX
Many of the cars that once stopped in the Home Depot parking lot to pick up day laborers to hang drywall or do landscaping now just drive on by.
Arizona's sweeping immigration bill allows police to arrest illegal immigrant day laborers seeking work on the street or anyone trying to hire them.

Wild Thing's comment........
And something else tool Home Depot will NOT allow Salvation Army bellringers at Christmas time. But they do allow illegals to hang around out front.

Home Depot is not all bad. They give all military and dependants a 10% discount.

Home Depot is not all its crapped up to be. I know of at least two people who had their kitchens redone, by the big Orange Dickweeds. They screwed it up big time. To where it didn't fit and the moulding on the cabinets doors were different. I mean totally different, it looked like two of the doors came from another project and they just stuck them on. They wouldn't replace them either and tried to blame the customer. This is not an uncommon occurance.
As far as the Bell Ringers go If they aren't there I am not either. That organization helps everybody. There is no reason for restricting them.

Gator, lol that is ok to say that. I am not a Soccer fan. I am amazed at watching it a little this week how much they run, amazing.
Gator, thanks for sharing about Rugby too, I had not heard that before. And New Zealand is an awesome place. I visited a couple of friends there one time long ago.
