Sarah Palin Statement to the Press Alongside AZ Gov. Brewer: "Mr. President, Do your Job. Secure our Border!"
Sarah Palin making a statement to the press alongside Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer to announce their effort together to "Secure the Border Support Arizona."
Palin called on President Obama to, "Do your job - Secure our border!"
"This state has enacted a law. It mirrors the federal law which allows police to ask those they otherwise have stopped to provide a driver’s license or other verification of legal presence. I think for most American people, there reaction to this would be, “Oh, why haven’t the police already been doing that?” (applause) And, while Mexico’s president has began to crack down on the violent drug cartels and corruption in his own country, it’s time for the United States Government to enforce the rule of law as well… In unity we say, “Mr. President, do your job. Secure our border."

Just finished signing the petition.
I think that it is very important at this time for all of us to fully support the actions of the Arizona Governor and Legislature. I urge anyone reading this to go to the website and take about 5 minutes and sign the petition.
Remember a few years ago, when the Congress and President Bush, tried to enact the Amnesty bill, not once but twice. It was the actions of the citizens of this Nation, writing, making phone calls, and signing petitions such as this, that caused the measure to be voted down both times.
We are at this point again and we need to act in large numbers, and show our support.
This can and should be another step for those of us who love this Country, to take it back!

I whole heartedly agree, Sean...just went and signed, fb'd, etc....
Now my concern is exactly what this lousy group of people in DC and at the WH are doing while our attentions are elsewhere. Hopefully many are still keeping their eyes on the WH's every move.
