Out Of The Closet Charlie Crist Goes Independent

A new Marco Rubio ad that let's Charlie Crist do all the talking! About the fact he said over and over again he would NOT run as an Independent.

.

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist just announced that he's running for the U.S. Senate as a candidate without affiliation -- that is, as an independent.

"Our political system is broken," he said. "They look at Washington and they don't like what they see."

He added that he doesn't have a Republican Party or Democratic Party to turn to. "I need you -- the people -- more than ever. I am counting on you. And I believe in you."

Crist has NO principles it is all about him, all about how he can try to stay or get elected. He could care less about 'the people' or the State of Fllorida.

Charlie go pound sand!

.

Wild Thing's comment........

Charlie Crist should have been taken down a LONG time ago.

It's that old split the ticket tactic, he's banking on taking votes away from the opposition and letting the electorate put him or another Dhimmicrat in there. Break the freaking chain, no more incumbents...period!!!

Charlie Crist needs to stay here in Florida so that he doesn't lose his suntan. This is what I think of him:

I lived in Florida for many years and witnessed the rise of Charlie Crist and was well aware he was no conservative. It is good that he is leaving the party, I just pray this doesn't cost us that badly needed seat in the U.S. Senate. I don't think it will, but then in politics one can never be really sure.

When Marco Rubio first got into the race he was down 40 points. He now leads by 25 points. If Massachusetts is any indication at all, the independents put Scott Brown into the W column.

Marco Rubio is the real deal. Crist is a camelion, he changes with the winds, a younger Arlen Spector. He changes parties in order to win, it is all about Crist not the country, of which he should be concerned, and he is not.

The democrats will vote for there dumbass, and some will vote for crist, but the way Rubio pulled ahead, that's 65 points he gleaned in a month. These are not just Republican voters. Rubio is young, energetic and has a plan. Crist is a RINO, who will attract neither democrats nor Independents, they too are pissed with obama, Rubio is new.

Another thing, Crist called the white house and tried to talk to Rahm emanuel and was refused. He may have curried some favor with obama but obama figures he owes Crist nothing.

Crist is toast. Also Republicans who donated to Crist want their money back. Crist is in big trouble, if he even makes it to the election that would be amazing. The more obama opens his mouth the more the country get angry.

In the Mass Race there was another Kennedy in that race, no relation to the swimmer, but a name recognition thing. he didn't take votes that amounted to much from either side.

I think this race will be Rubio and the dumbass. With Rubio the winner by a big margin.

Crist will probably hand the Senate seat to the Democrats. Unfortunately there are too many Republican voters who won't see Crist for what he is, a snake oil salesman. He'll do to Rubio what Ross Perot did to HW Bush.

I am afraid that Bobf is right-Many Bob Dole/Howard Baker/"Thurston Howell" country club "republicans" really cannot comprehend or trust the Tea Party Movement, with which many associate Marco Rubio. These "bluebloods" believe that the conservative "extremist" rabble need to be put in their place and to be set up as scapegoats for GOP defeat. Many of this type actually like Crist for what he is. The "moderates" and "indepentants" will vote for Crist to demonstrate that they are "moderate' and "independant". Many Democrats will support Crist because a)he is just like them and b) see above, they also want to spite the Conservatives . The DNC will lend little support to their endorsed candidate and allow Crist to win-they LOVE turncoat "Republicans" !! Crist will go to D.C. and will caucus with the Democrats, so either way the Progressives win.I just heard that Charlie's "buddy" Ca. Gov. Arnold Steroidtaker has thrown his enthusiastic support behind "Obamacare" so expect to see Charlie go the same way-most likely AFTER the election. It makes me sick to say this but I am afraid this could be the beginning of the end. With "splinter' candidates and the "September surprise" when Soetoro judiciously hands out the yet-to-be-spent stimulus dollars (which includes most of the Obamabucks) to critical states and districts, I fear that Barry could weather the storm .Than we will meet the real Obamugabe who will no longer need to pretend to be "moderate" . He will seek revenge against whomever failed to show "respect". Please convince me that I am crazy !! God help us all in the U.S.A.

My fingers are crossed and prayers too that Rubio will win.

Thanks everyone so much for your input.

OH my gosh Mark that is sooooo sick that he would try to talk to Rahm and I do love that they refused his call. That is like the devil not even liking Crist. I will post about this too, thank you.

BobF. that is possible, the rino's and some others will support crist but no conservative will.Fingers crossed big time.
