Democrat Hank Johnson Afraid Guam Will "Tip Over and Capsize" ~ And These People get Elected!
Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) Actually Believes that the island of Guam might “tip over and capsize” if 8000 military people/dependents are moved there.
Johnson expressed his worries during a House Armed Services Committee hearing on the defense budget Thursday.
Addressing Adm. Robert Willard, who commands the Navy's Pacific Fleet, Johnson made a tippy motion with his hands and said sternly, "My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize."
Willard paused and said: "We don't anticipate that."
Like other islands, Guam is attached to the sea floor, which makes it extremely unlikely that it will tip over, even if there are lots and lots of people on it. Guam is 30 miles long and up to 9 miles wide in certain spots, with a population of 175,000 civilians. The military is proposing the addition of 8,000 U.S. servicemembers and their families.

Having been to Guam I can inform the gentleman that the island does not seem unstable at all. I couldn't even feel it bobbing up and down in the ocean. FORTHELOVEOFSANITY!! These people are the ones who believe in man-made global warming and want to run our lives in every aspect! God help us.

Oh and there is Alcee Hastings of Florida who if you remember was a Federal Judge who was impeached. Yep and we have that shining star Maxine Waters out here on the left coast who has done nothing for her constituents for decades yet her people keep re-electing her.

Congressman Johnson obviously knows nothing about islands. It makes you wonder how much more he doesn't know. I bet he votes in lockstep with the man who cannot pronounce corps.

yup and these people think they can run Health Care. He must think the island is held by a Sea Anchors and too much weight on one side will cause an imbalance, ergo tipping the island out of its normal center of gravity. Hmmm...wonder why this didn't happen in 1944 when 100,000 troops invaded Guam afterall they all landed on one side of the Island. Plus all of their Tanks, and other heavy equipment all on one side of the Island but most likely he probably learned in School the Japanese won that battle
