Democrat Candidates Distance Themselves From Obamacare
Democratic candidates distance themselves from
Hardly any Democrat running for Congress seems to want to talk about healthcare.
Of the 26 leading Democratic House candidates contacted by The Hill, only one would commit to voting for the Senate healthcare bill if and when it comes to the House floor.
Out of the more than two dozen Democratic challengers and open-seat House candidates, only 10 commented for this story.
Eight outright declined to comment.
Eight more didn’t respond to several days’ worth of requests via phone and e-mail.
The only candidate to say unequivocally that he would support the Senate bill, which could be voted on in the House next week, is a primary-care physician running to face Rep. Jim Gerlach (R-Pa.).
Dr. Manan Trivedi said it’s important to get the ball rolling on reconciliation.
“The answer is yes,” he said flatly.
That was about as direct as the answers got — though another Democratic candidate, Arkansas state Sen. Joyce Elliott, said she was “inclined” to support the bill.

They can run but they can't hide. The damage to the Democratic Party has already been done, regardless of the outcome of Obamacare.

I love your quote Chrissie:
"They can run but they can't hide. The damage to the Democratic Party has already been done, regardless of the outcome of Obamacare."
Make that both parties, with one tearing the nation apart and the other scrambling ass over head to help them do it, I can't stomach either one any more.

Well for me I got to go with the Republicans. It may take two more elections but it can be done to weed out the RINOs. Starting with McCain and go right down the list.
For the democrats they have once again shot them selves in the foot but this time they blew off both wheels instead of one. They will pay for this for the next couple of elections. The progressives will go under ground again as they did after the first world war and won't resurface again this time we got their number... or at least I hope so.

Jack, thanks. I am glad though that there are some Republicans that are doing all they can and I keep jotting their names down as the good guys.

Mark, I agree, it can be done and I have a feeling this might have taught those with apathy a lesson. I sure as heck hope so. This is too darn close to come to a socialist, communist nation and those not being involed and paying attention when they vote better learn from this.
