Ever heard of that old song? It sure comes to life with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, the radical majority leaders in Congress. They just don’t seem to get it. Maybe Harry’s prior boxing career damaged his ability to understand. For Nancy, too much Botox may have seeped into her brain. As I stated in my prior commentary, they need their vision and hearing checked. In reality, their brains are those of stubborn radical liberals who think they can force their malicious agenda on everyone else. As Dr. Lyle Rossiter discusses in his book The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness (2006), die-hard liberals are pathologic because they were never able to develop self-sufficiency as they entered adulthood, thereby finding the ultimate parent substitute to take care of them----government. They cannot understand life any other way.
Most Americans are not insufficient and helpless, and do not want or need government to infiltrate every facet of their lives. Due to their own psychopathology, Obama and his friends cannot understand how an individual can be successful and sufficient without Big Brother, and so they feel driven to assure their agenda for a people subservient to government is not stopped. That is why Mr. Obama threw a restrained temper tantrum during the State of the Union address---announcing that he would double efforts to force his political goals upon the American people. Same goes for Pelosi, Reid and their obsession to overhaul an intact U.S. healthcare system. Pelosi cannot seem to understand that WE THE PEOPLE do not want her brand of socialism imposed upon our lives.
For the ‘fools on the Hill’ it is all about control of the people. I suspect the Massachusetts victory for Senator Scott Brown was one of the first shots fired over the bow by ‘to right of center’ America. We must move into high gear and work together through such organizations as the Tea Party movement, GOOOH.com (Get Out of Our House), and FreedomWorks.org to replace these dangerous Fascists who if allowed to accelerate their agenda will steal our freedom, and with it, the American dream.
