Ted Kennedy's Anger At Bill Clinton
Teddy's anger
A new book claims Bill Clinton compared Barack Obama to a servant.
One of the enduring mysteries of the 2008 campaign was what got Ted Kennedy so mad at Bill Clinton. The former president's entreaties, at some point, backfired, and the explanation has never quite emerged.
I've finally gotten my hands on a copy of Game Change, in which John Heliemann and Mark Halperin report:
[A]s Hillary bungled Caroline, Bill’s handling of Ted was even worse. The day after Iowa, he phoned Kennedy and pressed for an endorsement, making the case for his wife. But Bill then went on, belittling Obama in a manner that deeply offended Kennedy. Recounting the conversation later to a friend, Teddy fumed that Clinton had said, A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.
Wild Thing's comment.......
Were it not that someone with power wanted Obama in a position of authority, this is true. He had precious little political and no executive experience
Perhaps someday they will write the real history on this guy where they say he was carried to the WH by liberal white guilt. The only thing he ever ran was from the truth or responsibility.

Slowly the truth comes out. What these so called leaders really think. So much for Slick-Willie being the first Black President. His racism and pure hypocrisy came out in that comment. This explains the enthusiastic endorsement of obama by Caroline Kennedy and her drunken Uncle.
The Press has failed the United States. This should have been reported years ago to let the people know what kind of scumbag the Clintons really are and how devious and back stabbing the Kennedy's are. But since we have a dishonest press this is what we get. Bloated Government and liars for leaders.

Politics and particularly the Democratic Party is full of massive egos and power seekers. Politics is also full of phonies. They lead a double life. Their public front is used to disguise their real nature. The front doesn't always hold up. Often their real nature is found out.
That Bill Clinton had racist tendencies is no big surprise. America's "first Black president" seemed to have a great shortage of Black appointees and staff.
However I imagine Teddy's real anger at Clinton was more one of jealousy. Teddy probably thought that Clinton was a newcomer and unqualified to hold the post that he, Teddy, should rightfully have. I doubt that Ted Kennedy was any more color blind than Bill Clinton.

Tom, you know now that I think about it too, I remember the quotes I posted oh gosh last year during the campaign. Quotes from Bill and Hillary and they were in a book by the ex Secret Service man.
I agree I think Kennedy was not unlike Clinton regarding this.

Don’t you love to hear how Ted Kennedy got on his self righteous high horse? With all the media reporting on Ted Kennedy, I’ve never seen a story of him inviting any Blacks to his home in Massachusetts or Florida. I’ve never seen pictures of him out on the town or having dinner with any Blacks or any minority for that matter. The only type of minority he would ever be seen with are those of the female persuasion and they were always White.

So, billy jeff's true colors come through after all! More slimy behavior than we had ever imagined. In a way, it makes him and the won strange bedfellows indeed! Very strange bedfellows.
It would seem that in a way the left has empowered minorities with the dysfunction now occurring in the ranks of it's elite. Too bad most of those who need to wake up, simply will not.
