Robert Gibbs: Worldwide Record Cold The Result of "Climate Change"
A bold reporter(not sure who he is) asks Gibbs about "Record Worldwide Cold" and about the "millions spent to promote Global Warming" (good question)...Gibbs responds that the record cold temperatures is likely the result of "climate change"
.
Meteorologist predicts global cooling
Fears of imminent ice age to replace warming alarm?
Fears of a new ice age not seen since the 1970s are arising in the aftermath of the "Climategate" scandal that has cast doubt on the legitimacy of scientific research forming the basis for the theory that mankind is causing an ultimately catastrophic rise in temperatures worldwide.
Accuweather meteorologist Joe Bastardi has produced a video suggesting the current frigid conditions in North America, Europe and Asia are very similar to the weather patterns in the 1970s that produced fears a new ice age was imminent.
In the video, Bastardi explains his theory that "weather goes in a lot of cycles, and we're going to see a lot more of the cold trending here over the next 20 or 30 years."
WND previously reported President Obama's science czar John Holdren was among the scientists who predicted 1 billion people would die in "carbon-dioxide induced" famines in a coming new ice age by 2020.
In the 1970s, Holdren's theme was that government-mandated population control was essential to prevent "eco-disasters" such as the forecast ice age. Today, Holdren urges immediate passage of the Obama administration's cap-and-trade legislation to control carbon emissions before it is too late to save the planet from "global warming."

Wild Thing's comment..........
We used to call it ... winter.
Still do.
It comes once a year.
Has since the world started spinning around the sun.
Gibbs reaches new lows every day with his laughable attempts to prop up discredited liberal beliefs.
to show you, if you're going to believe in these hoaxes, you need to be REALLY flexible and able to adjust at a moment's notice.
Like the old timers used to say, "If you don't like the hoax, wait 15 minutes."
I’m sick of the alarmists... IF something happens ( colder, warmer, sky falls etc) we’ll DEAL with it. When it happens. IF it happens.
....Thank you Mark for sending this to me.

With the recent cold wave of the last few years these alarmists will have a tough time convincing anybody of 'Global Warming'. The White House can't give it up for fear of losing half of their agenda, which is the final nail in our coffin as far as control goes.
Health Care being the other half. Now that could be in real jeopardy because of Scott Brown running against the Kennedy Puppet Coakley. Although Brown looks to be a RINO he's seems to be against Health Care. We shall see. What could throw the race to Brown is the already existing Socialized Medicine in Massachusetts. This could draw enough votes from disgruntled voters.
This race should be a good indicator of how the 2010 races are going to go.

I was mocking one of my colleagues who makes her living off global warming, euh, climate change, and she said immediately, as if it was rehearsed, that "global warming causes the gulf stream to weaken and thus causes colder winters". Hahaha, so, these people are always right: if it gets warmer, its global warming, and if it gets colder, its global warming. Does this sound like an irrational RELIGION to anyone?

For once Gibbs is correct. The record cold is the result of Climate Change. It's the result of climate changing from warm to cold.
Eddy, no matter what happens, they're going to blame global warming.

Mark, I agree about Brown. Mass. would never
elect a full blown conservative like one of us. hahaa no way. We would scare the heck out of them. heh heh But Brown has enough good points for conservative beliefs and the icky liberal ones to appease the mass of rino's in that State.

Eddy, how funny, thanks for sharing that.
So they are trying to have all their bases
covered that way.
I agree Eddy, it is irrational religion.
