Legislation Introduced to Attack Gun Shows in Washington
State Representatives Brendan Williams (D-22) and Maralyn Chase (D-32) have introduced House Bill 2477, a bill that seeks to abolish the private transfer of firearms, even between family and friends, at gun shows.
Simply put, HB2477 would hold law-abiding gun owners liable for the acts of criminals. Under this bill, if a firearm is privately transferred at a gun show to a person who is ineligible, the seller can be held liable for injury or death caused by the criminal use of that firearm.
Further, in order to implement this bill, tracking firearm ownership will be required. The predictable follow-up to this bill's passage is comprehensive firearms registration
Please contact both of your State Representatives and your State Senator at 800-562-6000 and politely urge them to oppose HB2477.

Another effort by Democrats to restrict gun ownership. Washington State wants so much to be like the collapsed California. The Democrats want to control all aspects of our lives. At the same time they exempt themselves from the restraints they want on us. They can never completely control America as long as the citizens are armed. Expect a full bore attack on gun ownership if the 2010 elections keep the dems in power.

The G-man took a lot of heat for that one too.
A friend of mine got raided by the ATF. At 4 in the morning, busted down his front door, threw him and his wife up against the wall, tore the house apart wouldn't tell them what they were looking for. Finally these Federal nitwits realized it was the wrong house and finally left. They left a mess, but a report went to his employer, he got fired. It took him months to get his job back. He drove a tractor trailer, had to pay to and go to court to get his class 1 license back.
These people are real Nazi thugs. Now it will only get worse.
