Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.) Says It Like It Is...Obama Messing Up BIG Time On Security
The Hill article on FOX News Sunday:
Rep. Pete Hoekstra was on FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace today and blamed Barack Obama again for the attempted bombing of the Northwest Airlines flight on Christmas Day.
Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.) said Sunday that it is fair to blame the Obama administration for the attempted bombing of a Northwest Airlines flight bound for Detroit on Christmas Day.
Hoekstra, the top Republican on the House Select Intelligence Committee said that the administration has not taken the threat of terrorist threats on the U.S. seriously.
Asked by Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace if it is fair to blame the Obama administration for the attacks, the Michigan Republican replied “”Yeah, I think it really is.”
Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.), a frequent critic of the Obama administration, echoed Hoekstra's complaints about the White House's handling of national security issues.
DeMint called the unionization of airport security workers the "the top priority now of the administration" and said that closing the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba will not "appease" extremist groups.
Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) also said that "This is a jolt for us. This is a wake up call."
He said that the U.S. needs to improve sharing of information between State Department and law enforcement who track terrorists.
"This war is going to go on for 50 years," he said. "We had better wake up."

And Obama doesn`t care if Americans live or die. Americans are on his low-priority list.

I guess Hoekstra, is not with Obumble's program. There are no acts of terror, they are man made disasters. Obama is a man and woman made disaster.

And how long did it take him to handle this mess? three hours? With Bush, it was a matter of minutes and he was in the air, heading for Offutt, which Obamanation threatened with closure if E Ben Neezer Nelson didn't vote for cloture and the bill. And he did nothing but sit on the beach in Hawaii. Good President we have here.

I agree with you, Chrissie...I believe they are testing the system - all part of their plan. They have the jerk's number and are going to pick away at this open sore (which is quickly becoming a huge painful oozing fissure).

By now it has been well proven that obame is either a muslim or a muslim supporter. Like them, his goal is to destroy the US. He is doing it throgh our fair system of govt., they are doing it through violence.

It is good to see some Republicans come out and at least make a statement. The next time the detonator may work. Everybody knows there will be a next time and it may be better coordinated that this one.
If that happens obama will be toast and deservedly so.

Tom, that is so much what is happening.
True all true that obama is a Muslim, he
has never shown in word or deed that he
is a Christian and not a muslim. And he has had
so many opportunities to prove us wrong and
he can't his loyalty is to his muslim beliefs and
his fellow muslims.
