It has always amazed me how any American can want to visit Europe or any other third basackwards country when you have the most beautiful country right in front of you.
There is a saying in Europe if you speak 3 languages you are Tri-lingual, if you speak 2 languages you are Bi-lingual and if you speak one language You are an American, ... and damn proud of it.
