News About The UN ClimateGate Conference
Socializing another huge chunk of the U.S. economy is more important than saving the planet:
Senator John Kerry, Democrat of Massachusetts and chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, told colleagues on Saturday that Democrats could not send a delegation to the United Nations climate change conference in Copenhagen.
“It doesn’t look like we’re going -– not as a delegation,” Mr. Kerry told colleagues as a he left the Senate chamber after a vote on a package of spending measures. “Harry needs the people here on health care.”
Harry is the Senate majority leader, Harry Reid of Nevada, and to say that Mr. Reid needs his caucus members in Washington for the health care debate is an understatement.
Several senators had hoped to attend the conference, including Barbara Boxer of California, the chairwoman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, and many members of her panel.
Record Cold To hit Global Warming Conference (Copenhagen To Break Dec 17th Record by 7 Degrees!)
Once again its bad timing for a global warming meeting as all time record cold temperatures are set to strike the the U.N. global warming conference in Copenhagen.
Last week "warmists" were confronted with reports that November Arctic Sea Ice growth exceeded the 1979-2000 average and that "in general, the ice edge is now at or slightly beyond its average location".
The bad timing for "warmists" this time is that Copenhagen, home to the UN global warming conference until December 18th, is set to break the all time low temperature record for December 17th.

Violence is expected to escalate on the streets of Copenhagen over coming days as climate activists, angered by the “pre-emptive” arrest of almost 1,200 protesters over the weekend, consider more radical forms of protest . . .
Journalists and even a jogger are believed to be among those now being housed in the special steel cages brought in for COP15.
A Copenhagen police spokesman said police had found bolt-cutters and gas masks when they searched the sound wagon leading the demonstration.
“It seems totally unprovoked,” Richard Bernard of Climate Justice Action, an activist group opposed to market-based solutions to climate change, said. “There were no meaningful acts of disobedience. Police are shutting them [the protests] down before they’ve even had a chance to have their say. It´s a human rights issue, a freedom of speech issue.”

So it seems like Hanoi John, (hey John, some of us are still waiting for you to issue your military release form)... has come to a conclusion that he is needed more in the Capital for the next week then for him to help champion his global warming support in Copenhagen Denmark. I am sure he is not concerned that his wife and himself might freeze their what ever off as the temperatures will plunge in that city in the next few days. It seems like as usual anytime the going gets tough, Hanoi John finds excuses to part from the scene. LOL Global warming used to look like a shoe-in for othe lefties , but Climategate has turned it into a war.
As always, John Kerry spins his boat around and heads away from the shooting as fast as possible.
He will still nominate himself for a global warming medal though.
And the summit will go on with or without the democrats going... just a free trip at tax payers expense.

Regarding the protestors, Anti-war protests, featuring many of the same kooks, are some of the most violent protests known to exist. These are people who don’t think the Copenhagan meeting is left wing enough.

Global warming is joke, just like global cooling was in the 70s. Sure, we cleaned up the atmosphere and now more sunlight is getting through, so yeah, it's warmer. Even Homer Simpson knows that much. It's sad how many people want the government to run everything for them, tell them what to wear, what to eat, what to do for a living and just give up that freedom to choose. Fat Albert stands to make billions from this if it passes. He is laughing all the way to the bank. PT Barnum said it right, "There's a sucker born every minute."

So climate change is important but not as important as Health Care. If all this is true then Kerry and democrats have their priorities all bassackwards. If the Seas are rising, and ice melting, polar bears dying at alarming rates, doges and cats living together that on the surface would seem a bit more catastrophic than if everyone has Health Insurance. But what do we know.

I suppose that there will be polar bears introduced in the Antarctic to balance the species while penguins will be brought north to enhance the bird population.

Polar Bears normally seldom come to land but they do, their normal food source is in the sea and everything is a meal.

I think Hanoi John knows that the climate talks are going to be a failure and he and the other Democrats want to put their all into the communist health care program here. I hope all these communist/leftist programs fail. Too bad the voters in Taxachusetts are so eager to keep Kerry in office.
