Interview of Hero Who Led The Way In Subduing Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab
This is Jasper Schuringa, the passenger who led the way in subduing Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab - the terrorist who attempted to blow up Northwest Airlines Flight 253 as it prepared to land in Detroit on Christmas Day.
Schuringa suffered some burns as he subdued Abdulmutallab, who had attempted to set off an explosive device strapped to his body. Instead, the device caught him on fire.
Jasper Schuringa, a video director and producer from Amsterdam, told CNN how helped the cabin crew to subdue Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the 23-year-old who reportedly ignited a small explosive device on on board the plane Friday as it prepared to land in Detroit.
Schuringa said he heard a sound that reminded him of a firecracker and someone yelling, “Fire! Fire!”
"I pulled the object from him and tried to extinguish the fire with my hands and threw it away," Schuringa said.
He said he screamed for water and pulled Abdulmutallab out of his seat and dragged him to the front of the plane.
Schuringa told CNN that Abdulmutallab seemed out of it and "was staring into nothing."
To ensure Abdulmutalla did not have other explosives on his body, Schuringa stripped off his clothes. He then handcuffed the alleged attacker with the help of a crew member.
He says that he sustained minor injuries during the take down.
"My hands are pretty burned. I am fine," he said. "I am shaken up. I am happy to be here."

It has been over thirty-six hours since the terrorist attack on Northwest flight 253, yet Obama has not appeared before the American people to voice his outrage, or to voice his praise of the passengers and crew who thwarted the attempt, or even to just let the world know he is on top of the situation.
Instead, he golfs.
The front page of the White House website has nothing about the terrorist attack. The latest update on the front page is Obama's weekly address posted December 24th.
The White House Briefing Room section contains no statements on the terror attack. Its last posting was also on December 24th.
There have been no on camera statements by any member of the Obama administration since the terror attack.

Rep. Peter King was on CNN as this was being finalized. He is making the point that it is a failure of leadership for Obama to have not addressed the nation over this.
Obama is so in love with the sound of his own voice and his own image that he plasters himself 24/7 on TV, but for this attack he hides from the camera.

Another one!!! Nigerian West Airjihad's Detroit Special flight 253 has had another non rotarian event, just a disruptive passenger disturbance, he was just feeling ill and locked himself in the crapper, it's getting so that a Nigerian can't even take a first class shit anymore. Wait until his brother gets back from Hawaii, he'll sick that bulldog Napolitano on their white racist overreacting asses. Janet told them that there was so far no evidence of a wider terrorist plot, lousy profiling police and nosy passengers anyway. After all Amsterdam and The Hague never makes a mistake, they excel in their security so the problem obviously is an American one. Hey Nance, can they fly on your private Air Force Jet?
