A Soldier's Christmas - Call to Action
A father meets a phantom soldier on Christmas Eve. He's reminded of our military history, founding of our country. He's called to defend freedom at home. Six minute featurette based on Michael Marks' poem. Poem was made popular by LCDR Jeff Giles, CS, USN, stationed in Al Taqqadum Iraq.

Bing Crosby's epic 1954 WHITE CHRISTMAS is timeless on our Deathstar! An OLD TIME CHRISTMAS reigns in our home every year from December 6th
(Germany's Christkind to January 6th - the Feast of the Three Kings). This is a grrreat 30 days of Christendom one and all...

White Christmas was written by Irving Berlin in summer of 1941, Bing first recorded it on Christmas Day , 1941. But somehow that version got lost and he re-recorded on May 29, 1942. Made the top of the charts for 9 weeks Christmas 1942.
More recently, within the last 35 years. The recording was broadcast on the radio on April 30, 1975, as a secret, pre-arranged signal precipitating the U.S. evacuation of Saigon.
