This is the Tussing Elementary 3rd grade class singing a sincere thank you to our brave and strong soldiers, men and women, past and current, for protecting us in times of war and peace. THANK YOU!
I received this email and it brought tears to my eyes. This wonderful teacher has visited Theodore's World and sent me this video. Thank you Michael from not only myself but for all the Veterans that are part of this blog and all Veterans and our troops today. ~ Wild Thing
Here is his email : ( And also be sure to click on his website below it is awesome as well. )
"I LOVE LOVE YOUR SITE! I am an elementary music teacher from Virginia, and was wondering if you would take a moment to look at this beautiful video of our 3rd graders singing "Thank You, Soldiers" and consider posting it on your site. There are still children learning about the GOOD that our troops do, and that they are our real heroes!!
Please consider posting this!! All I want to do is spread the THANK YOU to as many sodiers/vets possible!"

Thank you Michael, for teaching your students that patriotism is respectable. And thanks also for considering we veterans and active military as the subject matter for this video. While your children sing beautifully, my praise goes to you for daring to do what most liberal educators won't. America needs tens of thousands of you Micheal.
And thank you Wild Thing for forwarding this on to us. HOOAH!

Thank you so much - and no, I will not forget Ft. Hood, as well as 9-11, and well as our other bombings, such as USS Cole and Trade Center early '90's. I appreciate you taking the time to write, and please forward the video to as many soldiers and veterans as you can. I desperately want to thank you --all of you-- I never served, and I am humbled to the core by all of you who have. I wish this would 'go national' just for the sake of huge praise and thanks for all our heroes do for our freedom and protection. God Bless You.

I think, Michael, if you support your country, teach these children to love and respect this country, its Flag, Police, Military and everthing this country represents then you are indeed serving this country as well as anybody because you are helping preserve the next generation of Americans to protect this country.
Thank You

Great post WT. Thanks Michael for your patriotism and for sharing it with a future generation. I hope you and your wife get some quality island time in in the near future.
We need lots of teachers like Michael. Luckily there are still a lot of them. I don't know what the percentage is, but I have to hope there are many more like Michael than like Bill Ayers or Ward Churchill.
