Palin on Nidal Hasan: "Profile Away"
by Associate editor Matthew Continetti
I spoke to Governor Palin by phone this afternoon. Lots of interesting material, but to me the most interesting takeaways were the following:
1) I asked about Palin's upcoming visit to Ft. Hood. "We had planned on that before the tragedy struck," she said. She commented on the trail of evidence linking the alleged Ft. Hood shooter, Maj. Nidal Hasan, to militant Islam. "There were such clear, obvious, massive warning signs that were missed," she said. "This terrorist, even having business cards" that identified him as an "SoA" or soldier of Allah. Palin blamed a culture of political correctness and other decisions that "prevented -- I'm going to say it -- profiling" of someone with Hasan's extremist ideology. "I say, profile away," Palin said. Such political correctness, she continued, "could be our downfall." If the upcoming investigations into the attack reveal bad decision-making on the part of senior officials, Palin continued, those officials ought to be fired.
Palin visits Ft. Hood on December 4. She plans to donate all the royalties from her book-signing there to the families of the victims.
2) I also asked Governor Palin about Attorney General Holder's decision to try September 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohamed in federal court in New York City.
"Does KSM deserve constitutional rights?" I asked.
Palin's response: "Not no, but hell no."
And she went on: "That was an atrocious decision," she said. "And it makes a mockery of our judicial system." She focused in particular on the fear that "war criminals" like KSM and his accomplices will use the trial as a "platform" to denigrate America.
Wild Thing's comment.......
Sarah is the America I grew up in.
I love how she answers questions in a direct, look you in the eye, straight forward way. So many politicians will never answer and when they do it is a half hour later and water down.

I got to see that interview, no doubt she is for real and can handle her own in an interview. Oh I forgot, she didn't have a teleprompter either.:)
What's with the acronym bullshit, KSM? The media is doing it's best to humanize this Islamist beast for Holder's show trials. It is Khalid Sheikh Mohamed, murdering muslim terrorist. C'mon Hannity, non of that politically correct progressives crap of trying to pick up a turd from the clean end, especially this one.

This woman is truly a breath of fresh air.
The directness of her responses indicate that she cares little about Political Correctness and speaks from the heart, just as all Patriotic Americans are doing.
She sees the erosion of this Country and all that it stands for, and is willing to take a stand.
The pundits try and attack her from all sides, yet she is able to withstand and carry on.
Isn't amazing how much strength there is when one speaks the truth?

Yeah, what's wrong with holding your head up high and thinking for yourself anymore? I find Sarah charming and a throwback to the days of Ralphie and Randy in "A Christmas Story." There is nothing wrong with being strong, brave and intelligent enough to fight your own battles. We didn't need any nannies to help take care of us and if someone teased or hit us, we did the same back. The younger generation is a generation of crybaby whiners who want everything on a silverplatter and they want it right now! They don't feel they have to earn anything, that it should be provided free of charge. Sarah speaks the truth and sometimes the truth hurts. I guess the liberal media doesn't like hurt feelings.

I got through half of these, saw part of oreilly's interview and I got to say she is much better when she is on her own.
Like oreilly she won't come out and call obama what he is, he is a Marxist whose primary function is to destroy this country. She knows it too, she answered that question in a very round about way.
Maybe it's too early to call a spade a spade. She hasn't said it yet but I think she gearing up for a run in 2012, and I hope so. I don't see any other candidate who can shine like she does. I think Huckabee is a closet Rino, Romney is at best a sunshine Republican, he signed the Health Care in Massachusetts which did nobody any favors, they are so far in debt that can't even see the top of the hole anymore but they keep digging.
She's got my vote.

Jack, LOL yes she didn't even use a
teleprompter.
Thanks everyone, I hope she does run.
Our country is desperate for true conservatives and America needs Sarah and all those that are
strong conservatives to run for office and help
take our country back.

Thanks Wild Thing:
I don't watch much TV, (except for football), and rely on the internet for my updates. These videos are great.
What other current politician could you say truly cares about America? I find her to be totally: "Sarah For America"! She could just as easily stay in Wasilla, enjoying her family and her great Alaskan outdoors. That she is willing to stay in this fight says much about her. When we see her being straightforward, able to speak as most of America speaks, being able to drive her own car, and such; we can see a truly "Mrs. America" in her. Anyone who does not espouse her values, or see America as the great nation that she sees, is not in my circle of friends
