World REJECTS Obama and Michelle ~ Epic Fail!

A stunned crowd stares at monitors in Daley Plaza after Chicago was eliminated from the bid for the 2016 Olympics.

Despite four years, millions of dollars in planning and a last-ditch pitch from President Obama, the Chicago 2016 Olympic bid ultimately fell short.
The City of Chicago was eliminated in the first round of voting, before any host city was selected.
An expert called it the "biggest shock in IOC history."
A disappointed USOC President Larry Probst left the venue and refused to comment, saying the Chicago delegation would respond later.
Supporters gathered in Chicago were equally shocked. Many left the rally in Daley Plaza tears.

IOC makes history - and humiliates Obama - as Rio de Janeiro is awarded 2016 Olympics
Rio de Janeiro is to host the first Olympic Games in South America.
International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge made the announcement in Copenhagen today, to the bitter humiliation of Barack Obama.
The U.S. president was embarrassed on the world stage after the IOC rejected his very personal bid for the 2016 Olympic Games to be hosted in his home town of Chicago.
Despite the president's unprecedented appeal, from late afternoon on, the momentum had all been with Rio.
Tokyo was also eliminated in the first round, leaving just the Brazilian capital and the Spanish city of Madrid in the running.
And after an inspirational speech from Brazilian president Lula Inacio de Silva today, some commentators were left in no doubt.
South America is the only continent that has never hosted the Games - which means that it was the only option of the four currently on the table that gives IOC chiefs the chance to make history.
'I honestly think it is Brazil's turn,' Mr de Silva told the IOC Committee earlier today.
'It is South America's bid. This is a continent that has never held the Games.
It is time to address this imbalance. It is time to light the Olympic cauldron in a tropical country.'
'When you push the button today, you have the chance to inspire a new continent, make Olympic history,' Carlos Nuzman, Rio bid chief executive and an IOC member, said. 'Vote Rio, and we offer a gateway to 180 million passionate young people in South America.'

They did pick Rio. That is going to be one fun, wonderful Olympics! The people of Rio are warm and compassionate. And the committee made the right choice. It's a first for South America and all the history. Even if you don't go for the games, go for the history!

Rio De Janeiro won, I'm elated. We can pull that suicide watch on the Obama's, issue those matches and gasoline for them to self immolate. Chicago can't simply sweep the slums under the rug as they had planned, they are still there, a testimony to Obama's cronies and their corruption. Did I mention the suckups like John McCain who aided their rise to prominence?

I guess the IOC was not favorably impressed by the three stooges, Michelle, Oprah and Barrak. Their slapstick, pandering, obnoxious floor show just didn't hack it. ABC=anyplace but Chicago!
