Tom DeLay: 'No idea' Whether Obama Constitutionally Eligible
"Well, I'd like the president to produce his birth certificate," said DeLay. "I can. Most illegal aliens here in America can. Why can't the president of the United States produce his birth certificate? ... Chris, will you do me a favor? Will you ask the president to show me his gift certificate – I mean, his birth certificate?"

Tom DeLay: 'No idea' whether Obama constitutionally eligible
October 7,2009
Former Republican House majority leader Tom DeLay says he has "no idea" whether Barack Obama is constitutionally eligible to serve as president because he refuses to show his birth certificate to the American people.
In answer to a question from Newsweek about statements he previously made with regard to Obama's eligibility, he stated: "What I said was, to answer a question from Chris Matthews, I said: 'Why wouldn't the president of the United States show the American people his birth certificate?' You have to show a birth certificate to play little league baseball. It's a question that should be answered. It's in the Constitution that you have to be a natural-born citizen of the United States to be president."
Asked whether be believed Obama was a citizen, DeLay responded: "I have no idea."
DeLay's outspokenness on the subject stands in stark contrast to any current member of Congress.
Wild Thing's comment........
Obama is a fraud on so many levels. I don't think its asking to much, to have verification of citizenship to the highest office in the country. This is about the Constitution OBAMA..... too bad he does not like it.
....Thank you Mark for sending this to me.

Nobody has seen a Birth Certificate, yet they all claim he is a legitimate. They assume he is telling the truth. But as we have found out in the past arduous 10 months he is a liar. With that in mind, wouldn't that in itself raise a Red flag in some peoples mind. You'd think so.
I am still convinced that congress knows full well the truth. The Senate, vetted McCain to prove he was a citizen, then declined to do the same for the Soutpiel Puppet. I would think that in itself is strange and should raise all kinds of flags.
Chris Matthews is too concerned about the funny feelings he gets down his legs from listening to or watching obama, to dare think. This guy might be a sham.

Mark, I sure would think so too.
I agree Mark, that Congress knows and
the
DNC has known even since he ran to be
a Senator.
