Hypocrisy Of The Radical Left-A Call To Action
How could a radical minority be elected by Americans to run our government particularly when that minority embodies values which are the antithesis of our founding documents and their emphasis on personal liberty? Most Americans value honesty, integrity, and self-sufficiency, and care not one whet about controlling others' lives. But that is hardly the case with the Far Left which has reached critical mass in Congress and the Administration.
There are two reasons for this.
The first is that those of us who hold our religious beliefs, morality, integrity and hard work as our guiding principles have been relatively silent and non-confrontational, with the belief that since our values represent those of the majority and are protected by the Constitution, that it is virtually impossible to see those who loathe such values elected to government positions and then move to take away our freedoms which were hard-won two centuries ago and defended in several worldwide conflicts. THAT is complacency!
Just as significant is the harsh reality that the values of the majority which made America a nation of dreams and opportunities have been increasingly challenged by individuals and groups who are opportunists in a perverse sense, waiting to take advantage of others through the development of various mechanisms of control. These consist of indoctination of the poor and uneducated, as well as redevelopment of school curricula which is (no longer not so subtly) designed to indocrinate our children so that they will submit to the far Left agenda as adults. Why have math, science and reading test scores of American children fallen behind those of other industrialized nations over the past two decades? For the Left this is all about CONTROL of others through destruction of capitalism and its incentives for personal success which have empowered America to become the strongest nation economically and militarily bar none
I cannot recall during my lifetime seeing our government dominated by those so at odds with the long-held values of the American majority. But after spending decades dumbing down our schools and gaining the support of the poor and uneducated largely through control of the major media, the Monster has taken control in Washington. Their hidden agenda is more obvious as each day passes.
For those of you who 'figured things would work out' and have looked the other way, your complacency in the face of insidious radicalism now permits these threats to your personal freedoms which are being systematcially attacked through very organized efforts at both the governmental and non- governmental levels. Witness the Democratic leadership threatening to force upon Americans unwanted and destructive government-controlled healthcare and energy legislation via 'reconciliation' (what a misnomer!). Witness the huge number of powerful 'czars' created by Obama without Congressional oversight, most of them former revolutionaries or off-the-wall weirdos with a personal agenda. Witness the Administration's naïve approach in dealing with Iran and the Taliban.
Witness the Attorney General playing a game of double jeopardy with CIA operatives who were already exonerated after investigations into 'torture' of captured terrorists. Witness the ACLU seeking to destroy religious expression in all public venues. And the list goes on.
Even after the Left's failed social engineering programs designed for redistribution of wealth through the mortgage markets led to the worst economic and financial collapse since the Great Depression, and even with the struggling Social Security and Medicare programs on the brink of failure because of their bloated bureaucracy and systematic looting of the Social Security "Trust Fund" for pork-barrel spending projects---yes, even after all this the Left presents us with unconvincing and hollow excuses buttressed by outright lies as to why we should allow them to overhaul and control the nation's entire healthcare system and our energy utilization.
Most of us know these issues would be best resolved and funded OUTSIDE the federal government as Conservatives have proposed. But the Congressional leadership is so dishonest that it will not so much as acknowledge the Republicans' affordable proposals through private sector intiatives as it 'interferes' with the their carefully orchestrated plans to ulimately control every part of our personal lives.
The time is NOW that believers in freedom, honesty, hard work, and charity stand up to the misrepresentations and lies of the Far Left and their abuse of powers which are not even sanctioned by our founding documents. Americans who have scoffed at conspiracy theories (including myself), or simply looked the other way, must now be vigilant and take every opportunity available to restore our government 'for the people and by the people' or we will very soon find ourselves as subjects of a tyrannical government.
The 2010 elections are critical, but until then we must increase our support for those Congressmen and media outlets which stand by our principles and boycott the rest. Are you willing to take a stand to save our children from the tyranny which opportunistically and insidiously waits in the wings?

Excellent article. Very realistic. I wonder if our traditional values will have to be reestablished through force rather than at the polls.
