A new video produced in association with the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI and narrated by former Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway urges people to report suspicious activity that could constitute terrorism, behavior that includes buying gold, owning guns, using a watch or binoculars, donating to charity, and all manner of mundane things. Using a watch, a pair of binoculars, or donating to a charity are all potential Al-Qaeda behavior, the video implies.
Do you use e mail or the telephone to find out information about things? You’re probably a terrorist, according to the DHS, which classifies such behavior as “elicitation,” one of the eight signs of terror.
Do you occasionally monitor police radio, as thousands did during the recent G20 protests in Pittsburgh? You’re a terrorist.
Do you notice surveillance cameras or occasionally attempt to watch big brother back? You’re a terrorist

I love the way all the terrorists in the video are white guys. Remember when Bush was President a real President not a fake and one that did love our country and our military? He said to watch for small groups of men with the appearance of someone from the middle east. That was told to us several times, by Bush and his Homeland Security. Not like this video!
I watched it twice and I did not see anything mentioned about “muzzies”. Guess they couldn't find any swarthy looking middle eastern type actors to use in the video. If only those damn Norwegians hadn’t knocked down the twin towers. Bloody Vikings.
Elway is a conservative, I'm sure he thought he was doing a community service announcement. I feel pretty confident that Elway did not intend to imply that right wing people are terrorist. Elway was going to run in place of Pete Coors for the senate as a conservative.IMHO they are using everyday Americans as to not offend anyone. However they failed, I'm offended. being PC is no way to win a war!!!! I expected to see “No actual terrorists were harmed during the making of this film.”

So they want to turn us all into Mrs. Abner Kravitz from Bewitched or the families on so many episodes of the Twilight Zone who turn on each other? It's fear mongering is what this is. Make us so scared that we'll report anything to keep someone from reporting on us first. This is one scary presidency.

It took them 8 years to figure this out? Oh that's right! I forgot - nothing of importance was happening before 1/20/09.
So we're looking for white terrorists. What do we do if we see a middle eastern suspicious person? Or would that be racist?
The one black guy they used didn't vote for Obama. He's suspect, you betcha!!

Can you imagine the amount of phone calls that will be made to report suspicious activity?
In 1980, while stationed in England, my supervisor went to Berlin and was given a tour of East Berlin. When he got back, all he talked about was how in East Berlin the people are constantly monitored. There were cameras on all the streets watching the people and people on the streets who watched you like a hawk. It now seems that we're becoming what East Berlin was 30 years ago.

This is soooooo important, we (the Obamaists) want you to keep an eye out for possible terrorist activity, but we're gonna castrate the FBI and CIA by defunding and limiting their ability to gather intel on our enemies. I want a poster of Mrs. Kravitz peeking around her curtains with the legend below: "Be alert, the country needs you." (or..."Be alert, the country needs more lerts.")

My motto is a life lived in fear is no life at all so I refuse to subscribe to it. It's not easy sometimes, but I work at it. It feels like a test sometimes.
That scrubby dude that thought he was going to blow up the Finley Bldg. in Springfield, IL, lived about 7 miles from me and in the local papers, he's being described by neighbors as the typical "he was a nice, quiet guy, kept to himself..." I mean, who doesn't know one of those types of people who is just a private person or like me, is a private person themselves?
It kind of shook my "I'm out here in the middle of the safe part of the country" belief, but maybe that's a good thing. Reinforces the fight in me...not fear.

Well they left out nuns and grannies in wheelchairs. I just look over muzzies. The guy here in Dallas that thought he was going to blow up a skyscrapper was a muzzie. How surprising, huh! Of course they are all over the place. Still, when I see one I usually watch him for a few minutes.

Kyle Orton has only won the first four games and is almost accepted now in Denver. John Elway is worshipped here and has made a fool of himself IMHO with this effort. Why can't athletes and movie actors just stick to their knitting?

We will see about Kyle Orton. Buffalo was at 4-0 this time last year too. The Broncos screwed up with Shannahan and Cutler.
But one must consider the source, DHS and Napolatano, the nitwit with a head full of cheese where her brain should be. But she's only doing obama's bidding. Get those right wing conservatives.

There has been 26 known terrorist plots towards US after 9/11/01 accordiing to Dr. James Carafano at Heritage Foundation, Homeland Security University Day 2, September 29, 2009, at http://www.heritage.org/press/events/ev092909a.cfm, I estimate that at least 90% were from Islamic terrorism. (My remark: If you brainwash yourself with the PC doctrine, you will not recognize the real threats towards US, you will falsely accuse normal Americans to be terrorists, like the Obama administration, but that is wrong and misleading, if you ignore Islamic Terrorism, AQ/Taliban, Iran, North Korea, China, Russia to be no threat towards US - you will be the traitor from within, and/or a fool.)
