Tom McClintock (R-CA) Town Hall Health Care Meeting
"The American People did it again! We don't have to wait out Barry Obama's term to stop his Marxist march against America. We got rid of Van Jones... but the battle is a long ways from over. KEEP UP THE PRESSURE! California Congressman Tom McClintock's Townhall meeting erupts in favor of American liberty and against Obama's socialized medicine and other oppressive, controlling policies."
Wild Thing's comment......
I thought this was a really well done video of McClintock's Townhall meeting.
McClintock has a great website too, he really has been speaking up about the socialized medicine.

From his website:
"House Chamber, Washington, D.C. July 28, 2009. Mr. Speaker: In order to support the Democrats’ healthcare plan, we are asked to accept three arguments that are fundamentally absurd: First, that the same government that pioneered $400 hammers and $600 toilet seats is somehow going to control healthcare costs; Second, that the same government that runs FEMA is going to make our health care system more efficient and responsive; Third, that the same government that runs the IRS is going to make our healthcare more compassionate and understanding"
Tom McClintock would have been Gov. of Calif. if Arnie had not run. I so wish the rino Arnie had not run.

This is the first I've heard about this guy. That was quite a meeting. Thanks, WT, I enjoyed that video...was clapping at some of it...lol.

Chrissie, I'm going to have to disagree with you, about Mc Clintock being Gov. if Arnie had not run.
There are simply not enough people in the state who can vote in a candidate like Mc Clintock. He wins in his local area because his constiuency thinks like him.
There is also the fact that the media, the Public Employee Unions and the Dem. Party machine would mount a huge smear campaign, as they always do.

There are a few in Congress like Rep. McClintok. Let'shope that a lot of new conservative blood joins these few in 2010.

Arnie has that Kennedy mystique and family ties to the kingdom, is shows in his lack of leadership. I have mixed feelings about McClintock,I don't trust the man, I do hope that Californian's take a hard stance against their ingrained Commies, but I don't believe they will. In an upcoming election year it's hard to tell if candidates are real or are posturing, being a cynic I'll defer to instinctive caution. So far there are extremely few incumbents or new candidates to choose from, I can't rely on the RNCC or the RNC to field a popular conservative, their cookie cutter is stuck in Rockefeller mode. My bucks are under the mattress for the candidate of my choice, if there is one. Hmmn, pessimistically optimistic, eh?

McClintock I've heard the name but maybe that was the movie, with the Duke and Maureen O'hara, what a combination.
But I digress to better times. The people have spoken. They don't want anything to do with this cockamayme health Care bill. What I wish for is Conservative Republican leaders to step forward and gripe and bitch too. The more voices the better. They are forever silent, as if waiting for a piece of Michelle's pie(poison pie that is).
