Poles, Czechs: US missile defense shift a betrayal
Poles and Czechs voiced deep concern Friday at President Barack Obama's decision to scrap a Bush-era missile defense shield planned for their countries.
"Betrayal! The U.S. sold us to Russia and stabbed us in the back," the Polish tabloid Fakt declared on its front page.
Polish President Lech Kaczynski said he was concerned that Obama's new strategy leaves Poland in a dangerous "gray zone" between Western Europe and the old Soviet sphere.
Recent events in the region have rattled nerves throughout central and eastern Europe, a region controlled by Moscow during the Cold War, including the war last summer between Russia and Georgia and ongoing efforts by Russia to regain influence in Ukraine. A Russian cutoff of gas to Ukraine last winter left many Europeans without heat.
The Bush administration's plan would have been "a major step in preventing various disturbing trends in our region of the world," Kaczynski said in a guest editorial in the daily Fakt and also carried on his presidential Web site.

This policy reversal is a clear signal to Europe the our President and his buddies care more about big business deals with communists and the communists themselves than they do about freedom and safety for Europe (or even the USA).

Yeacha perdola obama. Its Polish, phonetically but it is Polish. And this is what they are saying. Hopefully, they know, the American People have not abandoned Poland.
During the campaign obama wanted us to learn Spanish, I'd like to see obama try to learn Polish, hell he cant even speak English.
Maybe if he'd spent some time in a Polish neighborhood where they actually know what a 'Work ethic' is he wouldn't be so quick to give away somebody's elses wealth to people who are lazy, and won't work at all. My first inlaws were Polish, They came here after the War and started their own 'Small business', they owned a bakery, in Cheektowaga, and average day was at the Bakery at 4:30 AM so that the bread was done by 6 usually not home til 7 or 8 that night. Holidays, almost 24/7.
Obama is demented, I am now convinced he wants to collapse the us economy no sane man would spend the money he has in the last 6 months can convince me there is any other reason for his actions. Soros can't do so he has his 'boy puppet' do it for him.
