Remember, the Dept. of Education expects your kids to read books on the life of Barack Obama before the monumental speech on September 8th, well here’s a look at two of the books that shall be used:
The first book is titled: Barack Obama: Son of Promise, Child of Hope
here is the description, direct from the Publisher’s Website:
Ever since Barack Obama was young, Hope has lived inside him. From the beaches of Hawaii to the streets of Chicago, from the jungles of Indonesia to the plains of Kenya, he has held on to Hope. of course, no book about Vladimir Lenin would be complete without talking about his days in the trenches as a community organizer:
The work was grueling, with stretches of failure, and puny patches of success. Door-to-door Barack went, early mornings, late nights, pleading and preaching, coaxing strangers to march together, to make life better for everyone. He worked hard as a farmer, planting the words “Yes, we can!” like seeds in spring.
but that’s not all, there’s still more good stuff:

but that’s not all! He had a date with destiny, and:

He saw whites and blacks, rich and poor, Christians and Muslims and Jews; he saw the ghosts of his parents, of Gramps and Toot, of Martin Luther King, Jr. and JFK. And that’s just one book. I personally think we need to change the calender to BB (Before Barack) and AB (After Barack). I mean it is undeniable that the man is the second coming. But, that’s not all, let’s look at the other tome on Barack Obama for children:

There you have it folks, the one we have all been waiting for, Barack Hussein Obama! To think that such drivel is aimed at 4-7 year olds makes me sick. However, what’s the adage about “catching them young”?

Look at the comments at Amazon.com about the book. Comments made by teachers that read these books to the kids in class. I am feeling so sick posting this stuff Obama is doing to the children of our country.
Just one last thing..... The department of education and how are they paying for all these books. Our tax dollars, it has to be. This is not from some donation or out of Obama's pocket. So the dictator even if parents do not want their chidlren to be brain washed, the parent still has to pay for the books from their tax dollars.

Boy, he really believes all the hype, doesn't he? I think this is fundamentally wrong on so many different levels. This is a "forced" assignment. All the kids have to watch it. But the parents can't be there to help their child understand and make heads or tails out of it. Like I can't be a "good" and "proper" parent to my child. I am so sick of this. I think my child is coming down with the pork flu and it's going to hit on the 8th. Dang. This man is full of himself and crap.

I gave the daughter instructions that on the eighth, the grandkids will be at home. If the school district has a problem, they will just have to get over it.

Gawd!! This reminds me of the film clips showing children in Iraq where they counted "one Saddam, two Saddam, three Saddam." Or the kids in N. Korea singing about "the Great Leader" and how they love him for repelling the hordes of Americans and S. Koreans who would trample their freedoms!! The Hitler Youth...er...Obama Youth are on the rise. Well...these kids already know about Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth fairy...why not add another fairy tale figure: Emperor Barrak who magically changes all the bad people (conservatives, republicans, people of faith or anyone who opposes his "vision of Hope") into good people who are just like him. After all, he's gentle and loving and wants what's best for everyone...he wants all the children to come to him without fear. More messiah than politition. God help us!

Now if you go to Pastor Broden's site, he has family pictures of Barak's family. At the bottom of the family pictures are pictures of Baraks white moma, without any cloths on. The pastor refers to her as the 'slut'.
I notice that neither of these "Biographies" mention anything about "hope's" friends, Frank David Marshal, "Hope's" Communist mentor, or his other friend Bill Ayers, splintered SDS member also a communist. Or Tony Rezko, or Khalidi or any of his other 'pillars of the community' friends like Pastor Jeremiah Wright.
This is pure BS, sadly they are trying to foist it off onto children a most captive audience. That, one he is the second coming of the Messiah, he will lead the world to peace, and build a bridge of friendship.
So where is the hope and bridges, so far he's managed to piss off the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany and the Soviets aren't thrilled with him either. But most dastardly, he has abandoned Israel for the worthless Palestinians.
So this is the dud, they are trying to get the kids to emulate beautiful just friggin beautiful.

As I see it the parents can boycott this if they want too, sure it will piss off the school boards, but it's up to the parent to do what's best for their children or we'll have a nation of Elian Gonzale's doing their Heil Obama's. F'king lemmings!!!

When I was in grade school we didn't sing and dance about Harry Truman or Dwight D Eisenhower. They were merely the president at the time. Not the reincarnation of Jesus. Our country was honored and celebrated, not just some politician who made it to the top.
These events we are witnessing show the socialist/communist leanings of the obama followers. These are the equivalent of the flower children movement of the 60s/70s. I would not be surprised to hear of collective farms and communes starting up to celebrate and praise obama and the green movement. To me the obama movement is just one big bad bowel movement.

Tom, the way you described being a kid
at school was the same for me.
We said the Pledge standing by our desk.
That is gone in a lot of schools now too.
There was a photo of the President in the
Hallway or some of the classrooms, but
that was it regarding the president.
