Lawfully Armed Citizen Protesting Obama Outside Portsmouth Town Hall
Obama's Townhall, yes that one the phony one he cannot do anything honestly.
MSNBC is having an on air meltdown over a man their camera crew videotaped openly carrying a handgun at an anti-Obama protest in Portsmouth, New Hampshire this morning near where Barack Obama will be holding a town hall meeting later today.
MSNBC showed footage of the man with the gun openly holstered to his right leg. He was holding a large sign with words about the tree of liberty.
The Portsmouth police chief informed MSNBC the man was legally armed.
The man was reportedly standing with a group of protesters on the property of a church.
Sen. Cardin hears an earful on healthcare
HAGERSTOWN, MD. — Maryland residents and a lot of anger filled the Hagerstown Community College theater Wednesday afternoon for Sen. Ben Cardin’s third town hall on health reform.
Officials estimated up to 600 citizens, most of whom appeared to be opposed to healthcare reform, lined up outside the theater. Some audience members said they arrived as early as 8:30 a.m.

""Well, I just returned home from the town hall in Hagerstown. Despite a number of cars in the parking lot which had DC tags and “Obama” bumper stickers, the crowd was generally hostile to the senator and his nefarious plans. The meeting was moderated by some shill for government health care and she was happy to let the socialist plants speak as much as they wanted. Nonetheless, about 75% of the speakers were decidedly interested in obtaining facts from the Senator, who of course had none to offer. Notably, a nice older couple sitting in front of me had their American flags confiscated by the campus police. They had plastic points on their 8” long wooden staffs, and apparently the police thought they could be used as weapons. Or perhaps they didn’t want any patriotic displays while we watched the leftists trample our Constitution.
Several speakers mentioned the Constitution to Cardin, who seemed to be amused by the mention of it. One young man asked about the philosophical underpinnings of health care (and government largesse in general), which I thought was a very intelligent question. Of course Cardin thinks he has free reign to do as he wishes, regardless of the first article and 9th and 10th amendments. Another citizen charged him with dereliction of duty, having ignored the Bill of Rights, but Cardin ignored that statement.
In all, Cardin’s attitude was “I’m going to vote for it, whatever it is, whether you want me to or not”. Quite arrogant. I appreciate it that he faced a hostile crowd, but as a representative of the people he is a complete farce. "
George Soros Pledges $5 Million To Bankroll Health Care Reform Push, Group Says
In another sign of the urgency gripping the pro-health care reform camp, billionaire George Soros has pledged to sink $5 million into the fight, the group getting the money confirmed.
Soros — whose operation carefully guards the privacy of such donations — made the pledge to Health Care For America Now, the leading coalition of pro-reform groups, unions and providers, HCAN chief Richard Kirsch confirmed in an email that was forwarded to me.
Kirsch was asked by a prominent liberal blogger to comment for a post on Soros’ $5 million pledge, which the blogger had heard about. “Thanks for the heads up,” Kirsch emailed in reply. “HCAN is pleased to be supported by people and organizations who support our campaign to win quality, affordable health care for all.”
The blogger, who didn’t end up writing about the donation, passed the email along, and an HCAN spokesperson didn’t dispute the email or the figure when I asked about it.
The Soros pledge is noteworthy, because both sides will seize on it. The right will say it shows the real astroturfing is coming from the pro-reform side — billionaire bogeyman Soros is bankrolling this fight!
The left will cite the donation to demand that HCAN show real results. Some on the left, such as blogger Jane Hamsher, have been asking why heavily-bankrolled HCAN hasn’t been able to secure more commitments from Dem members of Congress to stand firm behind a public option.
HCAN officials regularly appear at a big weekly meeting of progressive groups — the one where Rahm Emanuel famously demanded last week that groups stop attacking other Dems. The question is whether HCAN will heed Rahm’s command and refrain from pressuring Dems to stand up for core reform principles. If so, the question becomes, What are you using all this money for?

I am so proud of our side, we get called names and other horrible things, but we keep speaking out and know the more we keep on and not give up it bothers the left even more. heh heh
They have no clue that our speaking out and I hope we can stop this monster bill it will be something better for them too. deep sigh

I am looking forward to the rally on the 22nd! Looks like it's gonna be a real good one. I am taking my chair, my water bottle and my sign and I am going to enjoy a nice afternoon with my fellow patriots. I hope it's not going to be too hot.

I love those "Angry Mob" t-shirts the folks in Hagerstown were wearing.
You know that Sen Cardin and other Dems had their townhalls, if they had townhalls, at venues that were too small. That way they could get their supporters inside first and stack the deck. You also know that then the media would quickly and casually mention the lines outside and say that all those people were probably ratioed like the people inside. Dem tactics.
There is this much opposition now to the Dems. Wait till obama tries his gun control. I have what will be a small fortune in bullets, but I will give some to real patriots.

With Soros, it's all about the money and power. I think he's probably the world's richest person, but he has his assets hidden well. His influece is scary, he's the major player.
