Marine Corps Vet. Speaks Out At Town Hall Meeting with U.S. Congressman Brian Baird

Marine Corps Veteran At Town Hall Blasts U.S. Congressman Brian Baird About Being Labeled "Brown Shirts"

"Stay away from my kids"

"If Nancy Pelosi Wants To Find A Swastika, Maybe She Should Look On The Sleeve Of Her Own Arm"

" I, David William Hedrick, a member of the silent majority, decided that I was not going to be silent anymore. So, I let U.S. Congressman Brian Baird have it. I was one questioner out of 38, that was called at random from an audience that started at 3,000 earlier in the evening. Not expecting to be called on, I quickly scratched what I wanted to say on a borrowed piece of paper and with a pen that I borrowed from someone else in the audience minutes before I spoke. So much for the planned talking points of the right wing conspiracy. "

Wild Thing's comment......

Oh my god. This just kicks butt. This man is one of the reasons we have freedom in this country.

When he finishes talking he walks up and kisses his wife who is holding their baby. God Bless him and his family and all that stand with him.

That was great, and the congressman better get it!

Comments

There is supposed to be a town hall meeting in Esopus, NY on 8/27 with senator's Gillibrand and Schumer, representatives Hinchey and Murphy. Due to circumstances I can't attend. I try and do my part by posting these events and what I get as feedback. Wish that I could. Maybe?

Do you think that a lot of Congresspeople are getting the message that many Americans are very angry at our rapid move to socialism? The first stage of a second revolution?

So did you catch the Congressman say "I didn't say that" and then say he has already apologized for saying that, smarmy little bastard.

I am so proud of David Hedrick. My son is a marine now; honorable guys. He told the truth in a straightforward way and I can only hope the rest of us will do the same.

Bob A., your heart is at all these rallies,
Tea Parties and Townhall meetings. And
with your blog you get the word out and
that is so important too.

Paul Larson, humble thank you so much.

Welcome to Theodore's World.

This Marine in the video, David William Hedrick,
speaks for all of us. I love how Americans
are speaking out and speaking. The signs
they take and the passion is inspiring.

Mark, yesssss all of that.

Posted by: Wild Thing at August 22, 2009 11:57 PM

Rhod, I agree.

Tom, I really do, I think because of
these Townhall meetings that now there
are many politicians very concerned
with the next election and keeping
their job. As they should be, we mean
business.

giggle I also think many of the
politicians are a shocked at how
strong we have been in our speaking
out. Like that women said, this has
awakened the sleeping giant.

Buzz, yes I caught that, your right
about what he is too.

SusanR, please thank your son for serving
our country. I wish we could thank all of
them in person we are so indebted to our
troops.

I agree Susan, this Marine said it
straight up and did not mince words. I am
smiling so big just knowing what awesome
people we have in our military and a heart
so grateful for each one of them.
