Obama 'smear' site vanishes from Web
Statements scrubbed on birth certificate, Bill Ayers, ACORN
A website aimed at combating so-called Internet "smears" about President Obama has disappeared from the Internet – including an alleged certification of live birth posted during his campaign – and archives for the website have been thoroughly scrubbed.
As The Obama File notes, even the Internet Archive Way Back Machine appears to have lost its archived copies of Obama's "Fight the Smears" website.
A Google cache of the website still shows many of the "smear" topics the website addresses, but content for each posting is no longer available. The snapshot of the page from July 2, 2009, lists the following topics:
* Obama's campaign was funded by foreigners
* Obama sought endorsement from the New Party
* Obama has connections to Bill Ayers
* Jerome Corsi's research on Obama and Kenya's Raila Odinga
* Obama's relationship with Fannie Mae executives
* Obama's affiliation with ACORN
* NRA research on Obama's record on guns
* "Born alive" accusations concerning Obama's pro-abortion stance
* Jerome Corsi's research on Obama in "new hit book"
* Obama is a Muslim
* Obama has not shown a long-form birth certificate and may not have been born in America
Obama's campaign posted a "Certification of Live Birth" on the "Fight the Smears" website that has been widely touted as "Obama's birth certificate" – though it does not in any way prove he was born in Hawaii, since the same "short-form" document is easily obtainable for children not born in Hawaii. The true "long-form" birth certificate – which includes information such as the name of the birth hospital and attending physician – is the only document that can prove Obama was born in Hawaii, but to date he has not permitted its release for public or press scrutiny.
Nonetheless, that posting has vanished along with the website. A screenshot image of the original page can be seen below.
The statement read, "Smears claiming Barack Obama doesn't have a birth certificate aren't actually about that piece of paper – they're about manipulating people into thinking Barack is not an American citizen."
It continued, "The truth is, Barack Obama was born in the state of Hawaii in 1961, a native citizen of the United States of America. Next time someone talks about Barack's birth certificate, make sure they see this page."
Another main issue addressed by Obama's "Fight the Smears" site was the contention he was once a Muslim.
"Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised as a Muslim, and is a committed Christian," stated the site.
Obama launched his "Fight the Smears" website in June 2008 to stop "ideologues" from "spreading a 'pack of lies' about Barack."
Tommy Vietor, spokesman for the Obama campaign, told the New York Times at the time of launch that the campaign sought to confront "lies" and "false rumors" with the "Fight the Smears" website.
"Whenever challenged with these lies we will aggressively push back with the truth and help our supporters debunk the false rumors floating around the Internet," he said.

This is so odd, haha, I wonder if the lawyers Obama has to handle his Birth Certificate lawsuits and to keep his Birth Certificate away protected might be the ones telling him to take down certian things from the internet.

And who pray tell controls the media? I have to scrub the system on my daughter's computer and start over due to hackers, they can't be stopped. Yet any and all references to Osama's site have vanished. Be assured WT that your's and my files are archived, probably in some underground vault for Nappy's purview. Didn't Hawaii just get bought off, in a stunt to reinforce the legitimacy of the fallacy of Obama's Certified Birth Certificate?
"Hawaii has changed its policy and now makes a point of including it stating in its qualifications that they are now accepted" "because they are official government records documenting an individual's birth."

Somebody is getting bought off. Intimidation works wonders, with Health Care in the offing, it would be easy to get to a hospital. But somewhere along the way I'd think someone would have the stones to stand up to this Soutpiel Puppet.

Jack, I am so sorry about your daughters
computer being attacked. Grrrr
I agree that my blog and yours and others
that have said the truth about Obama are
safe in some obama smear vault. It would
not surprise me. I hope they like the
graphics. heh heh Just kidding about the
graphics.

Over the years this is something I had to
learn about and Obama has done it better
then anyone else. AUGH! Celebs pay law firms
if they celebs like Pam Anderson etc. and
they used to pay law firms to case the
internet for anyone selling their photos
and making money off of them. The website
would be shut down. I am not sure if this still
goes on. I hate to even think about the many
websites that sell my photo's and make money
off of them. I only got paid when I did the
actual job the first time. hahahaa
I really believe that Obama is spending a
ton of money not only with lawyers about his
birth certificate but also like you said to
hide things as much as possible. It is
expensive to do.

can know so many people that are ALL
evil. He has to have input from like
Soros or something when he puts people
in his administration like that Holdren
guy, etc. How the heck did Obama even
know this guy or did he just go
to google and type in...."people as evil
as I am" for each position in his
administration. It sure seems like it.

Thank you WT. You are so right Chrissie and guess who's money that slime ball is spending to cover his background, it's not his. As for the computer, she let the boys on it and someone planted a bug that I can't clear off, it won't even allow me to execute an anti-virus or adware program. I've repeatedly emphasized never accessing the internet with out a good firewall and an up to date anti-virus program. I was hoping she'd bring the thing out here it's easier with the tools at hand:)
