I believe Larry Elder used to use that during the introduction part of his show. I sure miss hearing him.

As far as I know he was a life long Republican. He did wonders for Troop morale. That makes him Aces in my book.

loved listening to Larry Elder. He
was a favorite when I lived in Calif.
and also when we moved since I could
get him online live for his show.
He has been speaking out on some
TV talk shows the last couple of days
about the cops thing and how wrong
Obama was. Elder is so good.

Bob Hope was first and foremost ALWAYS friend of the guys and gals in the service.
When I was stationed in Tx, he came out to one of the major watering holes to do a New Years Eve show. The pre-condition for the show was that all local military installations were to have their personnel in ALL the front row seats and tables. This was only taken care of at the last min, because the "watering hole" management thought they could pull a fast one by having the service folk in the middle and back. Hope demanded they be brought forward. It was done and the show went on.
He could do no wrong as far as the military was concerned. And the same goes for Ann Margerat.
