Congressman Mike Castle R-DE. Town Hall Erupts Over Obama's Birth Certificate

Representative Mike Castle (R-DE) visited Delaware recently and held a town hall that erupted over Obama’s birth certificate. One woman brought a birth certificate and described what was on the face of that certificate. Things like the doctor who delivered and even the name of the hospital administration.

The woman who spoke at the townhall said she wants her country back.

" I'm American. My father worked, fought in World War II, the greatest generation, Pacific theater for this country, and I don't want this flag to change. "

Radio giant blasts president's refusal to show long-form birth certificate

Rush Limbaugh, upset that he's forced to report his every movement to tax authorities, blasted President Obama for failing to prove he is natural-born citizen of the United States.

On his show today, Limbaugh told listeners,

"As you know, I'm in the midst of another harassing audit from New York State and New York City for the last three years. We're up to 16 different ways I have to prove to New York City and state tax authorities where I have been every day – not just work week – but every day, for the past three years."

Later in the show, Limbaugh showed a video of a woman criticizing Rep. Mike Castle for ignoring the birth certificate issue during a Delaware town meeting. She presented her own birth certificate, signed by a doctor, and asked why Obama hasn't been compelled to do the same.

"The crowd went nuts," Limbaugh noted. "There's all kinds of stuff bubbling up out there."

Limbaugh joked several times about the subject in comparing Obama to God on his June 10 show.

Asking rhetorically what God has in common with Obama, Limbaugh said, "Neither has a birth certificate."

Limbaugh previously mentioned the birth certificate issue just days before the 2008 election, when Obama's campaign announced the candidate would rush to Hawaii to visit his dying grandmother, but took several days before actually making the trip. Limbaugh said on Oct. 23:

See, I think this is about something else. You know what's really percolating out there? I've been laying low on this because it hasn't met the threshold to pass the smell test on this program.

This birth certificate business, this lawsuit that a guy named Philip Berg filed in Philadelphia in August for Obama to produce his genuine birth certificate and he still hasn't replied. You've got a deathly ill grandmother, you are going to rush to her side a few days from now, when you first announced this, you're going to rush, you're going to hurry, you're going to make tracks, you're going to get over there because you don't want your grandmother to die before you got there like your mother did, but somehow you keep campaigning, you take three days to get over there, if he's left yet, and this birth certificate business, I'm just wondering if something's up. I have no clue, and folks, I'm telling you, this has not reached the threshold until now, and it's popping up all over the place. There are a lot of people now that are starting to speculate and be curious about this.

I don't know, let's say for example that somebody does come up with proof that something's screwy with his birth certificate and something's screwy about the fact that he's allegedly a natural citizen, American citizen, but may not be, dual citizenship, born in Kenya, who knows, there's all kinds of stuff out – so what? What's going to happen this late in the campaign? Do you think if it's proven that they're going to dump him? That's not going to happen. But still, these are just questions that I have. And, look, both of my parents have died. When I was told the end was near, bam, I got there, fast as I could. I didn't announce to the audience, "I just got word my father is said to be passing away and in four or five days I'm going to go to Missouri. In the meantime, I will not leave you here on this radio program." These are just natural questions. I think any inquisitive reporter – I know the risk I'm running here by raising all this. But I wouldn't be me if I didn't do that.

The case of the missing birth certificate grows more and more curious.

While numerous attempts to clarify the historical record have been successfully fought by the administration's lawyers, the issue became much more serious when Maj. Stefan Cook, a U.S. Army reservist with deployment orders to Afghanistan, filed a lawsuit regarding his questions about the legality of a deployment order based on the command of a potentially illegitimate commander in chief. But rather than contesting the suit, the Army took the highly peculiar step of revoking the major's deployment order, suggesting that the Pentagon generals are not entirely confident that they can demonstrate the legitimacy of their purported commander in chief.

The doubts this action raised about Obama's legitimacy were further increased when Maj. Cook was almost immediately fired from his civilian job at a private defense contractor, reportedly due to pressure from a federal agency under the Department of Defense, the Defense Security Services Agency. Although the obvious purpose of revoking the deployment order was to render the lawsuit moot, the firing only provides Maj. Cook with additional ammunition for broadening the scope of his lawsuit now that he has suffered demonstrable material damages.

Maj. Cook has already been joined in his lawsuit by two other soldiers, a retired Army two-star general and an active reserve Air Force lieutenant colonel. But the potential consequences of the major's revoked deployment go far beyond the number of American soldiers with doubts about the legitimacy of orders from their nominal commander in chief. The Pentagon's decision to back down rather than risk exposing Obama's birth records to the public means that every single American soldier, sailor, pilot and Marine now holds a "get out of war free" card. Not only every deployment order, but every order issued from an officer in the line of command can now be challenged in the knowledge that the top brass are afraid to respond for fear that their commander could be exposed for a fraud.

Given the number of sea and barracks lawyers in the various branches of the U.S. military, it seems unlikely that it will take very long for servicemen who are disinclined to accept an unpalatable or dangerous order to figure out how to best make use of this useful little veto. If even a small number of soldiers elect to do so, the effect on military discipline could rapidly become catastrophic.

It is hard to comprehend why Obama has been so obsessively secretive about his personal records, but it is now time for him to call off his lawyers and show the American public his cards. It would be the height of irresponsibility for the commander in chief of the U.S. armed forces to be the source of destroying American military discipline. Permitting such an easily preventable situation to develop would very strongly imply that the man is not only ineligible for the office, but unfit for it as well.

Free Speech at it’s finest!!! This video of the woman doing this made me cry, I love my country so much.

May God Bless her and everyone at the meeting who cheered and stood up to say the Pledge. This was not a tea party group, it was a group of citizens of Delaware, for the Townhall meeting about Health Care.

Also very interesting points brought up by the last article posted just above."Get out of war free' card"..... I doubt Obama, Soros and whoever else from the beginning have known the truth about Obama ever thought it would go on this long, but also that it would have such far reaching consequences such as our military. It should have, but since the left has so little regard for our troops to them a soldier, Marine, sailor or pilot is so far beneath them they give no thought to them and their reactions to Obama as CIC. They are learning now though.

This took place on June 30, 2009 in Georgetown, DE at the CHEER Center(that’s a senior citizen center).

Mike Castle was presented with an angry crowd for over two hours of over 200 people that came out that morning. He was having a townhall meeting on healthcare, but he got an earful from angry constituents on his Cap N Trade vote. This happened on Sussex County, which is the southernmost of Delaware’s three counties. It is very conservative, as opposed to the north of Delaware which is very liberal. The usual “niceness” of Sussex Countians was notably absent that day. Mike Castle stayed and took the arrows, but he was visibly shocked by the anger of the crowd. Castle is a former two term Governor and is the most respected politician in Delaware. For him to get a reception like this was earthshaking.

I got to speak with Mr. Castle afterwards to tell him that he was wrong on global warming and that CO2 is not a pollutant.

This lady in the video was a real firecracker that day. “I want my country back!” was great!

And how funny was it that she singlehandedly got the whole crowd to stand up and say the Pledge of Allegiance, when she pointed out to the Congressman that he started a public meeting without doing that.

He got an earful about healthcare also that morning.

On Friday he voted “no” on Obamacare on the Finance Committee meeting, one of three committees that are prepping the bill for the House to vote on.

This meeting caused quite a storm in DE politics that week. We had the Georgetown Tea Party two days later, and I heard Castle was in Wilmington(northern DE) for their Tea Party and got another earful.

When I went that morning, I thought I would be the only person upset with him that morning. Turns out there 200 of us. And he got the message—loud and clear.
