Cap and Trade is a massive tax. It will raise the cost of all the energy we use. It is basically a tax on a natural occurence. Might as well tax the clouds or the oceans. Congress will do that also.
This tax is basically a revenue generating machine to pay for other repressive government programs. It is amazing how many Americans have bought into the MSM propaganda on this Cap and Trade tax.

How did we get so many left wing whackos in Congress ? It's one thing to believe this 'hokum' yet quite another to punish the American people with Punitive taxes, for your misguided beliefs.
McCain may believe this crap, but I bet the majority of democrats that voted for this don't and know full well this does nothing but restrict our freedom and snuff out more of our personal Liberty.
At this point in time half way through 2009 they know also they don't have to listen and can realize all their agenda before the end of the year and there is not a thing we can do about it.
I've heard stories, where people have called their Congressman and Senators and have been hung up on, put on hold and flat out lied to.
I also believe this thing is going to come to a head sooner than they believe, everyday more and more people are becoming angry and frustrated with what is going on with their country.
When they come for our guns what do we do, passively hand them over as the country has been handed over to them or do we fight. It won't be a close fight, the press will try to play it as a police action and some right wing nuts are holding out in some mountain shack.
I am not ready to give up the ghost yet but I do not/Will not live in a country where we have no freedom and everything is done for the state either.
