Shootings at DC Holocaust Museum-- 3 People Hurt
A security guard and two other people were shot today inside the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in downtown Washington, authorities said.
U.S. Park Police said a gunman armed with a shotgun opened fire on the security guard and that other security guards returned fire. The gunman was reported wounded.
The shooting was reported to police at 12:52 p.m., and officers rushed to the scene just south of Independence Ave. bordering the Mall.
D.C. Fire Department spokesman Alan Etter said there was no immediate information on the shooter. He said two men were transported to a hospital with "serious" gunshot wounds.
NBC News says shooter, James W. Von Brunn, is 89. Ties to white supremacist groups.

James W. von Brunn, b.1920, attempted to place the Federal Resrve Board of Governors under legal, non-violent citizens arrest, 12-7-81. Von Brunn charged the FED with treason and other high crimes. Von Brunn was president of his college fraternity, SAE. He served as PT-Boat captain, USNR, during WW2, earning 4-battle stars and a Commendation Ribbon. His early business career was in NYC as copywriter, art-director and film producer; later as a real-estate broker; and lastly as a writer-artist.

Former defense secretary Bill Cohen was also there, he was only 30 feet away when he saw the perp get out of his car and go into the Museum. He was told to run and he ran, he said
If he had a cancealed weapon he could have stopped the gunman .
I am so angry, they keep sayiing the guy was a "right winger" over and over and over again on the communist channels CNN and the other horrible one MSNBC.
Some woman named Joan Walsh was on MSNBC and in a 2 minute speel she must have said Right wing 7 or 8 times and then she brought up Rush Limbaughs name too as to compare the shooter today with all of us on the right as all the same. Their hate for the right is overwhelming.

All the networks are calling Von Brunn a Right-Wing kook. I wonder if he was on the DHS high risk alert list ?
Could it be the guy is just 'nuts'. Funny, how the media never mentioned that the Unibomber was a left-wing Whacko, he even had a copy of Algores Book, "Earth in the Lurch".
But conservatives will catch hell on this one too. Oh well, I still hope Obama fails.
