Rush Limbaugh Receives The Freedom Of Speech Award ~ Congratulation!

I want to share something with you, first a video that truly made me sick to my stomach,. and then part of the transcript from the Rush Limbaugh show on Monday. It is so good, so excellent it should be shared with everyone you know that needs a lift of patriotism and one who loves America like we all do and as Rush does.
It started with this video of long-time Newsweek lefty Evan Thomas, who, on "Hardball," proclaimed Barack Obama a "sort of God", they were discussing Obama's what I call Obama's I have an Islam dream speech he made in Cairo, Egypt.
RUSH:
Obama's bringing nobody together, but there you have it from government-run Newsweek's Evan Thomas: "He's a god." Obama is a god. Reagan was parochial. Reagan, he only cared about America, but Obama's above that now. He's not chauvinistic. We're just provincial. Ronald Reagan was not provincial. Ronald Reagan understood American exceptionalism, Ronald Reagan understood America's greatness, Ronald Reagan understood America's role in the world for good. Mr. Thomas, Barack Obama sees America's role in the world as not good. It is offensive to the sensibilities of millions of people to hear a member of State-Run Media refer to a half black-half white human being with no experience running anything of substance referred to as a god. He may be president of the United States, but he's a god. Sadly, too many people look at him that way, which is why they can watch with their own eyes and experience with their own lives the destruction of their own lives economically, and still find a way to hold the man responsible for it, Barack Obama, blameless.
If I might correct the architect of the collapse of the Soviet Union, well, the partial architect, Ronald Reagan helped as well, that would be Mikhail Gorbachev. Mr. Gorbachev, Russia was destroyed, the Soviet Union was destroyed by freedom; it was destroyed by capitalism; it was destroyed by American exceptionalism. Socialism as an opponent to capitalism is what died with the Soviet Union. Communism as an opponent to capitalism is what died. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what Barack Obama inherited. Barack Obama continually, childishly, immaturely blames predecessors for all of the mess that he and he alone has compounded. If he wants to talk about what he inherited, I'd like to put it down on the record what he inherited. The problem is he inherited it temporarily. He's in the process of destroying it.
Barack Obama inherited greatness in a nation. He inherited the birthplace of the individual. He inherited the defender of liberty at home and abroad, the United States of America. He inherited the opportunity to lead a nation of sheer exceptionalism, a nation of equal opportunity, a nation which featured its citizens the right to fail and to try and try and try again. He inherited the financial center and capital of the world. Barack Obama inherited the country that has successfully championed capitalism and widespread prosperity. He inherited a nation which liberated billions of people who lived in oppression. He also inherited great responsibility. He inherited the responsibility to lead this great nation, the world's lone superpower, a nation oriented toward the good of humanity. He inherited the responsibility to preserve and strengthen the free markets and economies that made this the greatest nation in the history of human civilization. He inherited the responsibility to continue the philosophy and the tradition of a country founded on Judeo-Christian morals, ethics, and principles.
He inherited the Constitution of the United States. He did not claim the right to remake it, to rewrite it, to change it. He swore to uphold it. And he's in the process of wreaking as much damage to the Constitution as he can get away with, with nominations like Sonia Sotomayor, as he is wreaking damage to the US economy. Barack Obama did not inherit a mess. He leads a mess. He inherited the United States of America, where anything is possible. And greatness has been delivered to the world time after time in the form of private sector inventions, innovations, advancements in products that improve people's lives for over 200 years. He inherited a country of individuals energized by their liberty and strengthened by their character. Barack Obama inherited the leadership of the greatest collection of human beings in the history of human existence.
And what has he done with this inheritance? He has run around the world and apologized at every stop he makes for what he considers the sins, the immorality, and the unjust unfairness of the way he perceives the United States of America. He inherited a country that liberates the oppressed, as I said. He inherited the greatest economy in history. He inherited that, nothing more, nothing less, plus the Constitution. There is nothing to apologize for. It is childish, it's babyish, it is immature, it is unbecoming anyone who holds the office of president of the United States to run around crying like a baby while lying about the mess he inherited, because he didn't inherit a mess. He inherited years and decades of stewardship from the Oval Office of the greatest nation in history. In his mind, he inherited a flawed social experiment. He has now made the mess that is the United States economy. He is making a mess of United States foreign policy.
There is a lot to be proud of this country, but you don't hear much about that from the Oval Office or wherever Obama's teleprompter happens to be planted. We don't hear people in his administration talk about how proud they are of this country and how proud they are of the people who make this country work. There is a lot of work to be done, but not the way Obama is proceeding. He is creating more work for future generations to reclaim their birthright that is the greatness of this country. Barack Obama is destroying what others before him preserved and expanded upon. He's now saying, we can no longer postpone health care, just like we couldn't postpone stimulus, we couldn't postpone TARP, now can't postpone health care. If he gets what he and the Democrats want, single payer national health care, your kids and grandkids can forget the American dream as you and your grandparents knew it.
** After he said all of this above he got a few emails coming in and responded to them.......
Couple people with an e-mail: "Rush, that was great, why did you have to refer to Obama as half black and half white? You know everybody's going to focus on that." I intend them to focus on it. Remember the context. Evan Thomas said he was above America, above the world, he's a god. Barack Obama is a human being. He is not a god. I was simply trying to, shall we say, emphasize that proclamation by describing his humanity. He is not a god.

Little note about Evan Thomas. Did ya know that he is the grandson of Norman Thomas who was a six-time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America?
And as for Obama being half black and half white, he's not. He's 42.5% white, 42.5% Arab, and like 7.something black (and something else). The only black person in his family is his grandmother. In the United States, one must be at least 11.5% of an ethnic group to be legally recognized. This is something else that is a lie that the media does not focus on. Obama is not our first "black" president. He is however, our first white/Arab president.

Evan Thomas wouldn't even be considered for a job a NBC unless he was somehow related to the Soci-Communist circle. Rush calls them the state run media. Afterall, they sound more and more like Pravda every day. The State can do no wrong and if you disagree, why, you are a Right-Wing Terrorist.
They have enjoyed the 1st Amendment for too long they have usurped it to the point that they think they own it and attack, demean, and destroy anyone with a contrary opinion, how dare anyone speak against their chosen 'leader'. How dare they speak in opposition to their stated view of what the world is.

Good speech Rush. Rush has Obama described to a tee. Obama is going to destroy the America that existed and grew for over 200 years. And then the sorry shit apologizes to the world for that 200+ years.
My only hope is that after four years of this Marxist Obama and his racist, socialist, criminal thugs, America will wake up and throw him out of office.

I have been serving in Iraq for five years as a military contractor. I lost family in the 507th Maintenance Company Ambush. Robert Dowdy was my wife's first cousin. Robert was the first sergeant of Jessica Lynch. Robert was killed fighting for our freedom. Millions of Americans fear the government and now see the government as the enemy to freedom. Not just the economic part of all of this, but they fear becoming a socialist nation. I truly believe war is looming between the American people and Obama's crazy Idea in making America a socialist government. All it will take at this point in time is one small uprising. And then I fear all hell with brake loose. The military will brake down because our military is also Americans who will not fire on civilians. The military feels the same way about this as the civilians do. I have been in Iraq serving as a military contractor for 5 years. The FBI did nothing when a rouge NJ State Trooper beat my law biding mother-in-law up. My mother-in-law refused to let the trooper into her home to do a personal investigation of a handy cap man she was taking care of. Her reason for not letting him in was because the trooper was so demanding. The handy capped man in question ran away from home and was dropped back off by the NJ State Troopers a few days earlier. They stated that if this handy caped man showed back up again at the barracks, he would be arrested. I feel the police have been given a green light to do as they will. And for the record, I love my country and the men and woman who are fighting this dirty war. Do you have any idea how many Americans will die fighting before becoming socialist. Americans are buying guns out of fear of Obama, not out of fear he will make it illegal to buy guns. They fear Obama. How many Americans have died fighting for our freedom? How many more will have to die fighting for our freedom? IM sure I speak for millions of Americans when I say, give me liberty, or give me death. I could not live in such a world after tasting the sweet love of liberty. Liberty is my girl, and the only one I will ever love. She is the keeper of my children, and my hearts desire.

George-a lot of people agree with you and fear for what is happening in America. Maybe we can last until 2012 and change things with the vote. It will take every freedom loving American as the left has well funded groups like ACORN that register voters 8 or 10 times each.

Hi George, my condolences to you and your family for the tragic loss of Robert Dowdy.
Thanks for your part in the war effort, the freedom machine is made up of many cogs, you are a vital part of that machine.
I too feel the same way, I left CONUS for over 19 years mostly to avoid living amongst the nasty anti Vietnam War sheeple.
You are dead on in the assessment of the paramilitary, they are "law enforcement", not peacekeepers, they'll turn on the citizen at the whims of Obama, that's why we buy guns and ammo, in accordance with the freedoms guaranteed by the Second Amendment for just such a purpose.
I've enjoyed an independence most only yearn for. But old age and declining health along with loss of immediate family members has forced me to live back amongst them. As an expat you immediately see the decline in patriotism amongst the rank and file of our citizens.
Couple that with less than a half of one percent of the entire population serving and defending our nation it isn't hard to see that they have nothing vested in the country's future.
Like you, most of us here have family serving now or have served our nation.
It breaks our hearts to see what is happening to our country. Thank you for sharing and keep the faith, God bless you George, your family and all our service members.
I see a poster at the market that says "War is Unhealthy For Our Children" put there by "Mothers Against War". Cindy Sheehan's group??? It occurs to me that.
Mothers Against War;
1.) What is the alternative when it's you that is being attacked?
2.) Just who is going to die protecting you?
3.) Why are you attacking me for protecting you against attack?
4.) What if anything are you contributing to the protection of life, liberty and security of the nation you claim as yours?
