Rep. Michele Bachmann on Cap and Trade Bill

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) stated on the House floor that the cap-and-trade bill is a choice between liberty and tyranny. The Congresswoman says she chooses liberty.

“It is time to stand up and say, ‘We get to choose,’” Bachman urged. “We choose liberty or we choose tyranny. It’s one of the two.”
“It’s our choice,” concluded Bachmann. “Will we choose liberty or we will choose tyranny?”

This one is good too, she is really great. ~ Wild Thing

"We Now Have A Gangster Government"

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) speaking on the House floor:

"Now weve moved into the realm of gangster government. We have gangster government when the Federal Government has set up a new cartel and private businesses now have to go begging with their hand out to their local, hopefully well politically connected Congressman or their Senator so they can buy a peace offering for that local business. Is that the kind of country we are going to have in the future?"

Awesome, I am so glad she is on our side. She does not hold back and always speaks the truth.

Conservative favorites, Governor Sarah Palin, Representative Michele Bachmann, and Ms Liz Cheney.

....Thank you Jim for sending this to me.

Please don't let cap and trade pass the senate. After what Waxman put in right before the vote day. It now has legislation that before you can sell your house, you have to bring it up to "government" standards and make it a "green" house and have it inspected each time you do something new to make the house better. Who's going to set those standards? Who can afford to make the changes? Who can afford to have more than one mortgage right now? Think about those families who move a lot due to jobs or whatever. They usually buy older homes. They'll be stuck. This will also kill the existing home market. Cap and trade is a pos. We also had people sign a petition for Senaturd Nelson to vote NO on cap and trade at our food day on Saturday.

Cap and Tax, then Health Care are the lefts two most important pieces of shit they are concerned about. I heard Cap and Trade can be put on the back burner and brought up again next year. But Primo, is Health Care. The two would be totally confiscatory tax wise and we would see the last of our Rights vaporize into thin air. What this 'Gangsta' Administration is all about total control of the people.

Cap and Trade is the first curtailment of individual rights. Travel is one of our most precious rights/freedoms, vacations and visiting different parts of the country, this also allows for the active interchange of ideas and thoughts amongst the people. When they shut this down they put you in a box and isolate the individual and all your information can then come from the government and you hear and learn only what they want you to hear and learn.

Not surprising they want to increase Gasoline Prices make it impossible to go anywhere, force you to dirve an electric car becasuse the chances of driving 300 miles in a day is virtually impossible without an 8-10 hour re-charge, then it would take you 3 weeks to drive to Florida and that would be impossible for almost everybody. With this done, the whole process of controlling the people would be complete.

This I think is the purpose of these POS legislation.

The Dream Team: Palin, Bachmann, and Liz Chaney.

I would dip into the money market fund to support those three on a national level.

These three conservative women can certainly put issues in common sense terms. That is so opposite from the round about, bullshit, lying rhetoric the liberals use to deceive their followers.

If this cap and trade bill passes the Senate, it is the end of the American individual freedom we grew up with.

I totally agree, Tom! Why don't my kids and descendants deserve all the fun I had as a kid? Why don't they deserve all the freedoms made available to us under the Constitution and the Bill of Rights? Excuse me, but I am their mother-they should bow before me for I am root. I choose, not them. I pay their salaries. They need to listen to me!
