Obama Supporters Shut Down Atlanta July 4th Tea party BUT LOOK.......
This was the ATLANTA TEA PARTY on April 15th.
Sean Hannity at the Atlanta Tea Party in Atlanta, GA | April 15th, 2009. Sean Hannity from Fox News at the tea party in Atlanta, GA where a police estimate declares 20,000+ people showed up for the event. Of course, the liberal medias of CNN and MSNBC don't want you to hear this, which is why they're reporting that only dozens of people showed up! Sean Hannity helped rocked Atlanta for this tax day tea party.
Obama supporters shut down Atlanta tea party
Wait until days before event to object to 'political' nature
Obama may restrict his reaction to the nationwide tea party movement whereby tens of thousands of people are objecting to the spending spree on which the U.S. government has embarked under his leadership, but some of his supporters are taking more direct action: using an easement agreement to cancel a July 4th event scheduled on private property in Atlanta.
There, organizers had been working since March with officials to set up the tea party event in a parking lot of an old Macy's building at Gwinnett Place Mall, owned by Simon Properties Group.
Then only days ago, mall officials objected, giving organizers no opportunity to find a replacement location and no choice but to cancel.
From American Thinker
"With as many as 20,000 people in attendance, the Atlanta Tea Party on April 15 was one of the largest and most successful Tea Parties in the country. The Atlanta Tea Party on July 4, 2009 had been expected to be just as large. Unfortunately, plans have changed. Simon Property Group has forced the cancellation of the Atlanta Tea Party.
The Atlanta Tea Party was forced to cancel its Independence Day celebration in Gwinnett, after losing its location due to the objection of Gwinnett Place Mall (a Simon company.) The Tea Party had been scheduled to take place in the parking lot of the old Macy's building at Gwinnett Place since March.
"It is unfortunate the event had to be canceled," said Julianne Thompson, event co-organizer.
She continued, "The old Macy's building is on private property, and not owned by Simon Malls, however the mall manager asked the property owner and [me] to come in the office on Thursday of this week, and told us Simon does not want political events on its property. They were also concerned about the fact we were using the term 'protest.' Although the event was on private property, the mall was able to assert authority on the matter due to reciprocal property easement agreements."
Added Lee, "With just a few days left until the Fourth of July Tea Parties begin, this is very unfortunate timing! One wonders why Simon Property Group waited until now to interfere."
But he also connected the dots for those who really wonder:
Gwinnett Place Mall shut down the Atlanta Tea Party.
Simon Property Group owns Gwinnett Place Mall.
Melvin Simon (a Forbes 400 billionaire) is co-chairman of Simon Property Group, Inc.
Melvin Simon has provided large political contributions to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Al Franken, John Edwards, the DNC and many other Democrats and Democrat organizations.
Melvin Simon was a major contributor to Barack Obama's inaugural committee and has given at least $1 million to the William J. Clinton foundation.
Melvin's wife, Bren, personally donated almost $100,000 to various political candidates, was a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton's presidential bid and contributed to President Obama's inaugural committee.
.
BUT LOOK AT THIS! This is one of the things I love about Conservatives, they don't give up.

Wild Thing's comment......
Obama and his people can go jump in a lake, he is the slime of the earth! Glenn Beck said Simon not only was a supporter of Obama, but his wife was on the inauguration team.
God bless these people, this is what America is about it really is. The left wants to silence us, the left wants to take our FREEDOM away, they want to steal from us, from all Americans to pay for things that won't even help our own country, they steal companies from people like they did the car dealerships that were connected to Republicans and the list goes on and on and on way too long to list.
One thing they cannot steal unless we let them and that is the true American spirit, the love we have for Freedom and we WILL fighit to keep it.

Truly, another violation of the Peoples right to free speech. They disagree with it therefore they try to shut it down. This from the party, who, during the Bush Administration kept pestering Bush to impose sanctions on China because of its Human Rights abuses. Obama finally said something, weak of course, about Iran's Human Rights abuses, yet they turn around in their own country, OUR country, and try to suppress our free speech Rights. Seems to me Human Rights abuses is only a concern when it benefits the democrat party.
Everybody knows who's behind this. The MSM tried to down play it April 15 but it got to big, so now they will squash it before it can go too far. This tactic should make it even more intense and anger the Conservatives even more to protest all the harder.

Shut us down? Are they crazy? Our 912 group had a food drive on Saturday along with a counter protest to government run healthcare and we did so much better than those who want the government in every aspect of their lives--they had all of 4 people show up and no one donated to them. They brought the food over to our group which had about 50. My hubby and I brought the girls and a cooler of water in case anyone needed any and we talked and had a good time. The funny thing is the opposing view thinks that they'll be able to keep their insurance and they won't. This legislation will eventually put the health insurance business out of business or force them under the government control in order to survive. They are so dumb. You tell them what's going to happen and they give you the deer in the headlights look.

Isn't it interesting how the mean evil rich are always portrayed as Republicans but in actuality, they're mostly all Democrats.

Conservatives are responsible law abiding folks. Instead of forcibly having the Tea Party on the Macy's property anyway, the organizers found another location. Contrast that with ACORN and other lefty groups who illegally occupied foreclosed houses when the owners defaulted. The more I see of these actions and the deeper obama gets us into socialism, the more I think there is going to be a revolution in America. And I don't think it is going to be a peaceful one.

Someone failed to do their homework in selecting that site. Now, the end run by Simon/wife told him "or else" is no surprise, but I SURE somewhere else will be found very soon. The Battlecry: "I'm mad as hell, and I'm NOT going to take it anymore!!" Until you are willing to risk your freedom, then you don't deserve it.

Thanks Chrissie.
I almost missed it due to the weekend news blackout!!! Even Fox was blacked out, Geraldo was in charge in his quasi court room. If it weren't for the internet and the bloggers we'd have no national or international coverage.
Unfortunate timing!!! Planned to inflict the most damage I'd say. Melvin's foreplay is kinda rough isn't it?
Damn it, as predicted our troops are getting shot up from Obama's unilateral Iraq withdrawal decision. Where is the coverage on that, in the frigging obit column? I'm pretty much a non fiction person, not a bit attuned to that fantasy world of the pedophile muzzy lovers and their late androgynous muzzy icon. Fuzzy logic(kinky) usurps the news in favor of po lil Michael.
BobF has zeroed in on the crux of the matter. Isn't it interesting how the mean evil rich are always portrayed as Republicans but in actuality, they're mostly all Democrats.
What about Simon?
Now just why would Melvin Simon want you or I to succumb to Obama's Marxism, when he's a greedy capitalist? Maybe he saw a killing in the housing market, subsidized by his community organizer friends of the firm Obama, Dodd and Frank.
What if he were tipped off to the crash before the election? Didn't Martha Stewart go to jail, for insider information? No it for was perjury!!! Which the Dems are masters at and are rarely called on it.
The Simon Property Group and what does it do?
Painting conservatives as evil and denying their civil rights, isn't that what Hugo Chavez, Kim Jong Il and Ayatolla Ali Khamenei are doing? Still want to go to the mall and subsidize your loss of first amendment rights, where you can bet an Obama rally would be allowed on the property.
TomR, I agree, I feel a backlash coming, would you believe my own daughter thinks I'm hording ammo, while the rest of the nation is tip toeing through the two lips.

As I heard, the Atlanta Tea Party group has found an ally and together will make even more impact over the Independence Day weekend.
"We the People" is regaining its original meaning, and is making a new mark for itself. This design is becoming a hit:
http://www.cafepress.com/frankopinions/6779802,
Folks, when was the last time that you saw a disgruntled democrat using our flag,(properly displayed), to press his/her point? At best, if there was a flag in the scene at all, it was most likely upside down,or on the ground, walked on or burning.
When was the last time that you said the pledge of allegience silently, alone? At 68 years, I say it nearly every day, and mean it.
Damn the liberals, this is MY Country!

Mark, I agree so much. This kind of
thing should be a driving force for
even more Tea party to get started.
I hope they have a huge turnout again
at this one and all the others that are
planned

Lynn, that is so fantastic about your
912 group. I love hearing about it.
Your right Lynn, when people are told the
truth about the health insurance they
react just like that so much of the time.

BobF.,yes it sure is.I brought up the name
of Ted Turner one time to prove to a leftie
that very thing when he went on and on
about hating the rich the Republicans had
all the money he said. hahhaa

Tom, wow good point and I agree.
The reactions are so polar opposite.
I wonder what the last straw will be
when that happens.I think about that
too Tom.

good shirt to wear to one of the
Tea Parties.

Democrat Party
Republican Party
Libertarian Party
…Tea Party
I think that we have a solution to the RINO problem. Let us get some petitions signed July 4 for a new party.
If a patriotic Republican runs, fine but if a RINO wants to run, we have another line on the ballot that goes to only those who protect and defend the constitution.
No open primaries!
