Thank you Chrissie and Jack for such a powerful and moving story. I've have known for some time that there really are angels. This is just more proof. May God forever bless Nurse Horton, our fallen heroes and their families. We will never forget!!!

Marlene Horton and the women like her did a monumental job for which they cannot be thanked enough. As the graphic says, theirs was the last face many GIs saw. The nurses had a very tough job and there is no way to thank them enough.

Agree, Tom, the Nurses don't get enough credit especially the ones in Field Hospitals. They are right out there too.
Inspiring story.

James M., Tom, Mark, and Jack,
I agree so much. These people and
Marlene Horton are angels.
Their passion and care for our troops
has saved so many lives it would be
hard to know how many. Physically
but also mentally as well, in their
support.
