The whole problem is this is all unnecessary. There is no need for Cap and Trade. First, we would be the only country punishing our citizens for using 'fossil' fuel. Any benefit that would be gleaned from the reduction in our emmissions would be offset by China and the rest of the world.

Second, a prosperous America is not one of Obama's goals. Punishing America for its extravagant life style is the purpose of this punitive Tax. Spreading the wealth around is his goal to return the country to its rightful owners, the poor. As if people have made money off the poor. This is what the left says all the time. That statement by itself is an oxymoron, how does one get money from the welfare state.

How will Obama's "poor folk" afford these cars and pay these energy bills? Oh yes, that's right. The government will pay for them out of the 80% income tax the rest of us will be stuck with.

One of the politicians goals is for government run mass transportation. There will be automobiles available, but only for the elite. Not for the average person.

It sure seems like that and I beleive it
is absolutley true. They want to get rid
of the conservatives. Not only the dems
want us gone, but many within the republican
party are pushing for that to happen. I
don't remember anyway this ever being such
a huge thing of attacking conservatives
from within our own party. And the outrage
is that it is our standards that was used
