OK I could not help it, when I saw the photo of Nancy Pelosi with the article below my very first thought was how she looks like Michael Jackson. Look at the nose especailly. This is so weird. ~ Wild Thing

Pelosi: Torture protest improper in '03
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi learned in early 2003 that the Bush administration was waterboarding terror detainees but didn’t protest directly out of respect for “appropriate” legislative channels, a confidant of the San Francisco Democrat said Monday.
The Pelosi camp’s version of events is intended to answer two key questions posed by her critics: When, precisely, did she first learn about waterboarding? And why didn’t she do more to stop it?
Pelosi has disputed a CIA document, released last week, that shows she was briefed in September 2002 on the “particular” interrogation techniques the United States had used on Al Qaeda leader Abu Zubaydah. Pelosi has said she was told then only that the Bush administration was considering using certain techniques in the future — and that it had the legal authority to do so.
But there’s no dispute that on Feb. 4, 2003 — five months after Pelosi’s September meeting — CIA officials briefed Pelosi aide Michael Sheehy and Rep. Jane Harman (D-Calif.), then the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, on the specific techniques that had been used on Zubaydah — including waterboarding.
Harman was so alarmed by what she had heard, she drafted a short letter to the CIA’s general counsel to express “profound” concerns with the tactic — going so far as to ask if waterboarding had been personally “approved by the president.”
According to the Pelosi confidant, Sheehy told Pelosi about the briefing — and later informed Pelosi, the newly elected minority leader, that Harman was drafting a protest letter. Pelosi told Sheehy to tell Harman that she agreed with the letter, the Pelosi insider said. But she did not ask to be listed as a signatory on the letter, the source said, and there is no reference to her in it.
Republicans aren’t buying it.
“If Nancy was so concerned about the waterboarding, why did she let someone else write the letter?” asked Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-Mich.), the ranking Republican on the intelligence committee. “If she was so upset, why did she let someone else raise objections?”
Democratic insiders acknowledge that Pelosi has not handled the media furor surrounding the interrogation briefings — and what she was told and when — in a timely or aggressive manner.

The similarities in the 2 photos are amazing and they are both looney. Pelosi should be gone along with Reid, Obama, Biden and a host of others on both sides. His sheepish followers won't wake up until there is no one left to take from and they have nothing more given to them.

As far as the picture goes Her and Michael Jackson perhaps they had the same plastic surgeon. That said, does that mean that Nan's Nose comes off at night too. Along with her teeth her face ...
Now her people are saying she didn't protest because it was 2003. Her Leftist counterpart Jane Harmon did. But didn't Nancy Peelosi flat out deny that she was told, ..."Never, never was told". Funny thing about the Dictionery those on the left use, Never, also means, well maybe I did, or maybe I didn't. Never must be right near the definition of "IS".
Now either her cognitive processes are defective or she's just a flat out liar. Either way she does not belong in the position of Speaker of the House. Which brings us to another parallelism between her and Michael. She doesn't belong in the House and Michael doesn't belong anywhere near Children.

Either Nancy Pelosi is caught in an obvious and documented lie (I believe she is lying) or she is totally incapable of a coherent understanding of the national security briefing criteria as it is being communicated, either situation is unacceptable for the third person in line of ascension to the highest office in the land. Whether a bald faced liar or a total incompetent, she should be removed from office, unfit for the office of Congresswoman or Senator nor Speaker of the United States House of Representatives or any legislative office. Moral terpitude is a dishonest Democrat trait.

Pelosi is lying, again. She has been caught at it and should pay a political price. However, she is a Dem and will get a pass. Has the MSM mentioned this at all? I don't watch the news much anymore. My bet is the news media will say she denies knowing anything about it and they will let the story end there.

If all of you would do the same, we might accomplish something. Nancy Pelosi needs to resign her position as Speaker of the House. As Speaker, she’s third in line to the Presidency of the United States. Here we have a woman who at first lied to the American People of her knowledge of the Enhanced Interrogations. Her lying to the American People in itself in disqualification for her position as Speaker and as possible President. But, more frightening is her claim to not understand the briefings. Her inability to comprehend what was briefed is the main reason she should be as far away from the Presidency as possible. Can you imagine her being briefed on a National Emergency and not being able to comprehend the briefing? Will she understand something as “Madam President, NORAD has confirmed ICBM’s have been launched and are targeted at American Cities”?

is a liar, but she also is confused too.
She probably remembers then has an anxiety
attack in the fear there will be some kind
of a document paper trail as to who was in
the meetings about the waterboarding.
