Tom Tancredo was on Fox last evening, and said even NPR admitted the 90 % figure isn't true.

But if it were true Why isn't some bloated government agency investigating, who is buying all these weapons and running them to Mexico because for sure they are not paying taxes on all the money the Mexican drug dealers are paying for these guns. Also would that not be a good case for securing the border ?

True or not berry will be using this figure over and over again, as will his lackeys in the press, then what is the solution ?

Would it not be prudent to secure the border and have the border patrol catch all these illegal gun runners . Afterall, berry and his boy Calderon have accused America of running all of these illegal guns.

This would serve two functions: First to stop all the illegal guns going to Mexico and drugs coming into the country, and second stop Illegals from coming North to Invade the United States. Oh, and one more benefit the drug war would be trapped in Mexico. Where Mexico would actually have to do something about actually stopping the drug runners.

But since it is not true, berry will again be tilting at windmills, using this as a sham crisis, the end result will be to make another assault weapons ban. Which of course will not solve the problem. Drugs will still come in unabated, illegals will still come in hoards and the drug war will continue to escalate on this side of the border.

After all securing the border would trap potentially Millions of democrat voters in Mexico.

Obama has one of his excuses now to begin outlawing guns. Even though the 90% figure has been debunked, it will be used by the gungrabbers. Most of the guns in Mexico come from the international market.

Mexico is a very corrupt third world country. As long as they make money off of drugs and have an outlet for their overpopulation, Mexico has no incentive to secure their side of the border. Now that the drug cartels are coming back to bite them, the Mexican government is whining to us.

I do agree that our dopers in America are a major problem. Maybe if we deported our dopers to Mexico a lot of problems would be solved.

I think TomR has hit upon the solution. Mexico keeps its' excess population, drugs, drogistas and dopers on their side of the border, and we'll keep our guns and money on our side.
