Who sings this ? I've never heard this one before. Unless you see the Wall, 50,000 + doesn't sink in until you really think about and sseing all those names does just that. Then all the memories come flooding back like a huge wave of emotion, as if were yesterday. Then it is time to reflect and then go and talk to somebody who has seen, felt and dealt with the same problems, either that or pop-a-top again.

Thank you Chrissie. Love you all.
Mark, it's sung by 'The Possum', George Jones and I have it on MP3. I never made it to the actual monument but visited the traveling wall, it was equally emotional, it was awful hard to see and I used a lot of tissue. Fortunately I went to the 5 year reunion with some members of my unit and again at the 35 year reunion, for 30 years they all thought I had passed. I've bottled it up until I found this wonderful blog and that of Lindsog.
The striking reality of the wall is the 3 years of '67, '68 and '69, we all are still dealing with it. Peace my brothers and sisters.

Mark, I am so sorry, I should have put the
name of the singer in the post. I added it
to the post after I saw your question.
It is a Holy place.

Jack, oh wow, I didn't know that.
Thank yo uso much. I looked at the name
with the video and it made it look like
it was a singer by a differnet name.

I will correct my post.
Thank you so much Jack for the information.
