Revenge of The White House Teleprompter ~ LOL
Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen reads word for word a speech that Obama had just read from a teleprompter, while the president apparently thanked himself for the invitation.
Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen was just a few paragraphs into an address at a St. Patrick's Day celebration at the White House when he realized something sounded way too familiar. Turns out, he was repeating the speech President Barack Obama had just given.
Cowen was set to speak twice at the White House on Tuesday night because there were two different parties going on at the executive mansion. No matter -- he would give the same speech to the two different audiences.
But Cowen was 20 seconds into his second address when it dawned on him that he was giving word for word the speech that Obama had just read from the same teleprompter.
Cowen stopped and looked back at the president to say, "That's your speech."
Obama laughed and returned to the podium to offer what might have been Cowen's remarks. In doing so, President Obama thanked President Obama for inviting everyone over.
Earlier, the president claimed an Irish ancestry to Ireland's leader and joked to Congress that his genealogy could have helped him as a once-unknown Chicago politician.

Obama also put off the Brazilian president for a day and his administration misspelled his name. Then there was Gordon Brown. I wonder if Obama is going to able to succeed in offending every nation in the world at least once before the end of his first term. Let's see, he's offended 5 in his first 50 days...at that pace he might get to the majority of the nations.
OH and also note how he brings up his "genealogy ".

Yes, as you point out Lynn, they know how to screw up. What would have happened had it been Bush? The MSM would have been all over it. Obamats get worked up about any criticism of their Obamunist leader but were in the forefront of blaming Bush for everything. Almost 2 months into his administration and still blaming everything on Bush.

With Bush you knew what you had. Not some pretend to be perfect, model always on a teleprompter. A scripted performance by the ever perfect obama.
I will take Bush with all his faults, his stumbles over words, or a screwed up pronounciation. At least you knew what he meant and President Bush always meant what he said.

I agree with Mark about Bush. Not only do I have the same accent, but I make the same gaffes mispronouncing or using the wrong words. Like W, I can laugh at myself.
Prime Minister Cowen must not have been too prepared if he started reading Obama's spech. He also must not have listened very well if he got several paragraphs into the speech before he realized it was Obama's. Jeez, the quality of politicians these days is deplorable.

The first thing that struck me is the look on Obammy's face.... What an arrogant SOB. He was probably sitting there thinking to himself "Wow what a great speech, I wish I'd said that!"

Rush summed it up really well today....."Who needs a telepromter at a party"? I'm guessing the guy that loaded the telepromter is probably unemployed by now!!!
And I think we would all like to see "O"'s "genealogy"!!! Oh crap, I forgot....his fake genealogy is probably locked up along with his fake birth certificate!!!!

Mark, I agree, so much. Bush was real and made a person feel you could talk to him and he would talk to you not at you. Obama looks so much like he talks at people not to them.

Tom, giggle...I actually loved how Bush spoke. haha I miss the Texas accent, that slow kind of drawl that is a different kind then in the South.
And the way Bush said... nuclear. giggle. I liked it.
When Bush spoke there were lots of times he made me think of John Wayne. Like when he lowered his voice to make a point. heh heh
