Gov. Palin To Be Keynote Speaker At Major Fundraiser
WASHINGTON
Today, U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), and U.S. Representative Pete Sessions (R-TX), Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), announced that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will deliver the keynote address at the annual Senate-House Dinner to be held on June 8th at the Washington Convention Center:
“Governor Palin has quickly emerged as one of the most popular and recognizable faces in the Republican Party, and we are honored to have her deliver the keynote address at the Senate-House dinner. As a proven leader in her home-state of Alaska, Governor Palin represents a breath of fresh air from the business-as-usual crowd in Washington, and is one of our Party’s up-and-coming young governors who will play a critical role in our re-building efforts in the years to come. Last fall, she electrified and energized crowds across the country, and we expect she will generate a similar amount of enthusiasm at this spring’s dinner.” – NRSC Chairman John Cornyn
“On behalf of Congressional Republicans, it is a pleasure to announce one of the brightest rising stars in the Republican Party, Sarah Palin, will deliver the keynote address at this year’s Senate-House dinner. Gov. Palin’s conservative values, commendable achievements in Alaska and the sheer energy she personifies make her one of the most compelling visionaries of our Party. With respect, admiration and enthusiasm, I look forward to welcoming her to Washington and await the inspirational address our Party needs, as it rebuilds and prepares for a victorious election cycle.” – NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions
Palin Keynotes Major Fundraiser
Gov. Sarah Palin will keynote the Republican campaign committees' top fundraiser in June, a sign of her enduring popularity with the Republican base and a signal that she has not foreclosed on the possibility of a run for president. The annual "Senate-House" dinner is scheduled for June 8 at the Washington Convention Center. A joint release calls Palin "a breath of fresh air from the business-as-usual crowd."
Wild Thing's comment......
What Sarah is doing is smart, both for the Party and for her, and she's picking and choosing her fights well. I like the way she says no to some things and yes to others.
That she said yes to this event she is able to show that the party needs her, and not the other way around.
I love how she is staying in the news and at the same time she is being an awesome Gov. We will be seeing more and more of her in the future too, I really believe this.

Ha, ha, the piranhas(DIMS) will have a feeding frenzy over this. Any knowledge of a warchest just for Sarah in 2012 or sooner? I'm personally not willing to share any funds with the GOP in general to have them misspent on the likes of another Olympia Snowe or Anal Sphincter. Run as an independent conservative Sarah. I'm willing to put aside a buck or two in an escrow just for her then at the appropriate time flood her campaign with whatever we can afford, but not a cent for the likes of McCain.

Good one, Jack, Anal Sphincter, do you think his middle name is Stanley.
Yes I agree, a couple of buck in escrow to be sent to Sarah Palin for the big run and God willing we have re-taken the Senate by then and maybe even the house and have already sent these Socialists packing.

Jack, love it ! hahahaa
Jack I agree, I am no longer donating to my party. They have to come around big time for me to donate again.

Doesn't Sarah have SarahPAC or something like that to contribute to to circumvent the RNC? I'm with you all, I'm waiting for awhile to see how things shake out, then it's full steam ahead on my support for her.
Those opposed to her, they are still trying desperately to trash her and her family. When you compare the facts about her past and present to The Fraud's, add a year or so more of his constant blundering, it looks good--on paper anyway.
I agree, she's doing the right things. Not some "I'm suspending my campaign and RINO marching back to Washington to save the day--oops, maybe not..." type thing. I hope that continues. She's such a crowd gathering figure, and potentially a great money gatherer as well, that and a few well placed campaigning stops for the right Repubs will suit her well when she needs their support later on.
She's only 45. She's got lots of time and she's using it wisely. Plus, she's in charge now, not someone else's campaign, she can hire a better class of advisor.
I can't wait for her keynote. You know it will be outstanding.

I believe there is a blog on Team Sarah that is raising money for Sarah. That is where my money will go. Screw the RNC until they can learn how to represent us. And I'm not impressed with Steele so far. I think he was chosen for his color so the RNC could look more moderate and caring. Screw that.....we are CONSERVATIVES!!!!
Not sure we can get the House back by 2010 Mark but we sure as hell can get the Senate back if we get our heads out of our butts and start the push now. We need to identify strong conservative valued people who are willing to take the fight to the Dems and shove it up their ass. Screw this PC crap.....call a spade a shovel. And if there are weak Republicans that get in the way, replace them. McCain, Snowe, Spector, and others need to be retired. If they aren't part of the solution, they are part of the problem and need to be replaced.
