Taliban Lawyer Tony Ward is Obama's Nominee to Head Justice Dept. Civil Div.
Tony Ward is the President’s nominee to head the Justice Department’s Civil Division
John Walker Lindh, the “American Taliban.” Caught in Afghanistan after the invasion while fighting on the side of the Taliban against the Northern Alliance; pled guilty to supplying aid to the enemy, and for possessing explosives during the commission of a felony.
In or about late May or June 2001, LINDH agreed to attend an al-Qaeda training camp for additional and extensive military training, knowing that America and its citizens were the enemies of Din Laden and al-Qaeda and that a principal purpose of al-Qaeda was to fight and kill Americans.
In or about late May or June 2001, LINDH traveled to a Bin Laden guest house in Kandahar, Afghanistan, where he stayed for several days.
Tony Ward is the President’s nominee to head the Justice Department’s Civil Division. If you want to know how far we are past 9/11, there’s your answer: John Walker Lindh’s defense attorney is going to work for Justice.

On March 9, the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on one of Barack Obama’s latest nominees. This time it was to assess the suitability of Tony West, Obama’s nominee for the assistant attorney general in charge of the U.S. Justice Department’s Civil Division. Things went “smoothly” according to the San Jose Mercury News, also publishing a nice bio of West. The Washington Post merely mentioned the hearing was “notable.” Similarly the East Bay Express simply makes mention of the hearing having occurred. Apparently there was nothing of interest in West’s nomination.
Curiously enough, though, not one of these brief reports mention that Tony West was “American Taliban” terrorist John Walker Lindh’s defense lawyer. Another key bit of info left out of these announcements was that Tony West raised $65 million for Obama’s presidential campaign.
This appointment of a terrorist’s defense lawyer to the Department of Justice announces that Barack Obama is in favor of a more lenient stance on terrorists.
Also, since the Old Media have not made a single peep about this, it announces to the world that neither the crimes of 9/11 nor terrorism are any longer of interest to those that make the news. Says Lileks, “It just seems like one of those things that might have stuck out, once upon a time.”
So, in a era when most of us still acutely feel that Islamic terrorism is an important worry that should still feature prominently in our planning, Barack Obama is appointing a terrorist’s lawyer to one of the very agencies that is supposed to protect us all.
And the Old Media does not find this fact the least bit interesting.

What the heck is next, the Islam call to prayer at the White House?
When I read about this happening my very first thought is about our troops. They are the ones fighting the enemy, risking their lives, making sacrifices every day. To have a President a CIC doing things like this oh man, I cannot express how angry this makes me. Sick to my stomach to see this kind of low life scum in our White House making these kinds of nominations for his cabinet. And it is scary because he has not even been in there very long.

This is incredible, but then again we have in a few short weeks learned that we should expect nothing less from the administration. What is just as disturbing is that the liberat (no not a typo) politicians that are in lock step would vote to approve this creep.
This should make everyone feel a little better about Obama's wanting to close GITMO.

I doubt very seriously if this was an accident. Tony West worked as an assistant to Janet Reno and his wife Maya is a big shot in the ACLU in Oakland.
Obama is quietly surrounding himself with some very radical, anti traditional American activists. Over the next four years this Marxist/socialist group will be working tocomplete that "change" that Obama promised but never explained.
Of course the media says nothing of this. The media and Obama are in each other's pocket.

And wouldn't ya know, Tony West is BLACK. Surprise surprise surprise. With O'Vomit stacking his administration with radical blacks who want to get back at whitey, I forsee a racial war in the near future and WE (as in us) ain't gonna be on the losing end.

I hear this typical treasonous California puke will tour the college campuses with Ayers & Ward Churchill? WW II G.I.'s and Leathernecks would have shot him on site! Glenn Beck's Friday show was a HIT, and it will be replayed on Saturday again at 9 p.m..... WE will take our country back!
