Senator Shelby Questions Obama Eligibility
"Another local resident asked Shelby if there was any truth to a rumor that appeared during the presidential campaign concerning Obama’s U.S. citizenship, or lack thereof.
“Well his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven’t seen any birth certificate,” Shelby said. “You have to be born in America to be president.”

A U.S. senator has weighed in on the continuing controversy over Barack Obama's eligibility for office by saying he has never seen proof the new president was actually born in Hawaii.
"Well, his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven't seen any birth certificate," Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., told constituents in Cullman County. "You have to be born in America to be president."

To Sen. Richard Shelby, borrowing $787 billion is not good fiscal responsibility.
“You can’t borrow your way to prosperity,” Shelby said. “We’re the largest debtor in the world. We’re stealing from our grandchildren.”
Shelby discussed President Barack Obama’s stimulus package and answered questions from the public at All Steak Restaurant during his annual meeting in Cullman County.
In front of a packed room, Shelby explained how he was a staunch proponent of fiscal responsibility and that he had opposed the $787 billion economic stimulus bill Obama signed into law earlier this week.
“If we (republicans) were in control, I would have been chairman of the banking committee ... and I would have killed some bills,” Shelby said.
“What I don’t want to see is a huge transfer of wealth from the taxpayers to banks that brought this problem on themselves,” Shelby said. “We’ll just have to prop them up again in the long run.”

Good for Shelby, I wonder if the Democrats will respond with a personal attack on Senator Shelby. If they do I hope he stays strong on what he said and does not try to explain away his comments.
The second article is not totally accurate. But then it is the media afterall.
They quote Fact Check in the second article and it is part of the Democrat machine. Also, Obama has NOT produced a Certified Copy of his original Vault Copy Birth Cetificate, at any time.
Hawaii NEVER said Obama was born there....how DARE these media jerks play so fast and loose with the truth...this guy goes so far as to editorialize they said there is NO DOUBT Obama was born there. How irresponsible.

"On October 31, 2008, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii Department of Health, released a statement verifying that Barack Obama’s birth certificate was on file in their records. However, despite what you might have heard, she did not verify that he was born in Hawaii. And, she did not verify that the certificate on file in Hawaii matches the “COLB” pictured on Obama’s site and at FactCheck. "

Fact Check, isn't that the propaganda wing of The Annenberg Foundation, the same one Obama and Bill Ayres are akin to? While I agree with whatShelby says it's just verbage. You can make book that the Commies will try to discredit him in the media.
Senator Shelby may be able to walk on water and resurrect Lazarus but I can't trust him anymore than I can reach out and touch him.
Come on, where the hell was Shelby's howls of protest when Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd were put back in charge of the financial commitees they directed to make bad loans and enhance their personal bottom lines, including massive grants to Annenberg. This is akin to leaving Col Sanders watching the chicken coop.
Kind of late in the game for Shelby to take a stand now that the weasel is in the hen house and most of the chickens have been killed.
I'm reminded of Alec Guiness's perfomance in The Bridge Over The River Kwai where he realizes he has been collaborating with the Japs. But it's too late.
We have a illegal president and not even both houses of Congress will step in and do their jobs of vetting this impostor, this is the same senate that harbors a murderer and several traitors as revered brethren, including the Marxists Sanders and Pelosi. Start impeachment proceedings and I'll get behind you Senator.

Jack, that movie The Bridge Over The River Kwai is so awesome. I will never forget that scene with Alec Guiness.
I have a feeling it slipped out from Shelby, I think his being upset he lost it for a few seconds there but I am glad. hahaha At least if they play it on the news it will start people talking about it.
When I got home today, they actually were talking about it on CNN. hahha But only because it was brought up by Shelby.

For whatever reason, Shelby let it out I don't care, it brings it front and center for all of America to see. It has got to make some people uneasy on both sides. Maybe now, someone else will pick up where he leaves off.
The Congress has not even looked into the fact that obama has NOT been backgrounded to the point that even McCain was. That by itself deserves an investigation.
We know Obama is a usurper and so does congress they just don't have the spine to go after him. At least not yet.

It's amazing how Obama hasn't provided any proof that he was born in America. Even his college records are sealed. Pastor Manning from Harlem says the reason they're sealed is because they'll show he registered as a foreign exchange student from Indonesia. What's even more amazing is his family members in Africa saying they witnessed his birth in Africa.
There are too many people in important places questioning his birth place.

Who's to even say that those typical white people who so-called "raised" him where even his grandparents? Some pictures look like they were photoshopped. The man needs to produce an "actual" birth certificate, not a cradle roll. Even with life insurance, you have to send them a copy of the real birth certificate to enroll your newborn and the same with social security to get their number. I have to produce more to get a job than he does!
But Congress and the Supreme Court won't deal with it so they "keep the peace." Some peace. What's gonna happen when the stock market does go belly up? When the banks close their doors and no one can get anything? Mass riots. But socialists like chaos.
