" The beginning of the end...." this and the time he admitted he was a Muslim will be so far the two times Obama actually spoke the truth in his life. This was no slip. He means that this day “marks the beginning of the end.” It’s his purpose in life to end America as we know it. There’s no other explanation for his making such obviously stupid moves, unless they’re doing it on purpose.
Well I've heard it all now. A KGB thug lecturing us on capitalism! The world is truly upside down.
What a sad day for the US when even an ex-KGB boss has to warn the US against socialism. The only thing is, good grief, Putin should not speak so soon. Putin has brought a level of state ownership in Russia not seen since Soviet times, and much more than Western European countries.

Putin Warns The US Against Socialism
Russian Prime Minister Vladamir Putin has said the US should take a lesson from the pages of Russian history and not exercise “excessive intervention in economic activity and blind faith in the state’s omnipotence”.
“In the 20th century, the Soviet Union made the state’s role absolute,” Putin said during a speech at the opening ceremony of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “In the long run, this made the Soviet economy totally uncompetitive. This lesson cost us dearly. I am sure nobody wants to see it repeated.”
Sounding more like Barry Goldwater than the former head of the KGB, Putin said, “Nor should we turn a blind eye to the fact that the spirit of free enterprise, including the principle of personal responsibility of businesspeople, investors, and shareholders for their decisions, is being eroded in the last few months. There is no reason to believe that we can achieve better results by shifting responsibility onto the state.”
Putin also cautioned the US against using military Keynesianism to lift its economy out of recession, saying, “in the longer run, militarization won’t solve the problem but will rather quell it temporarily. What it will do is squeeze huge financial and other resources from the economy instead of finding better and wiser uses for them.” Putin’s comments come in sharp contrast to Russia’s own military buildup and expansion.
Putin also echoed the words of conservative maverick Ron Paul when he said, “we must assess the real situation and write off all hopeless debts and ‘bad’ assets. True, this will be an extremely painful and unpleasant process. Far from everyone can accept such measures, fearing for their capitalization, bonuses, or reputation. However, we would ‘conserve’ and prolong the crisis, unless we clean up our balance sheets.”
“The time for enlightenment has come. We must calmly, and without gloating, assess the root causes of this situation and try to peek into the future.”

I had not heard this one, thanks for posting it. This character signed a bill he had not read, passed by the democraps in congress along with 3 rino's that also had not read it. Nobody even knows what is in there but it had to be done immediately, what a crock.

Nobody read the bill. It came out of conference and there was a 4 hour delay before they started voting on it. So the final passage was based on what blind interpretations. The Porkulus listed at over 1100 pages alot in hand written notes, it would be impossible for any one to read it.
It never got published on the internet, supposedly in PDF form which is impossible to D/L which is why it was done that way, as per the agreement of Peelosi, and the rest of the elites. Bobo promised a 5 day waiting period so the American people could read it and digest it none of this was done.
All the pie in the sky promises made by congress and the Usurper were nothing more than Deficrat rhetoric, to shut the people up.
This they did in good fashion. Nobody not even congress know what they voted on. The Usurper doesn't even know for sure what he signed. That's how suspect this whole pork bill is.

A real study of this bill would probably show that actual crimes were committed in it's writing. Sneaking in last minute handwritten pork spending has to violate Congressional rules somewhere. These actions are in keeping with the criminal bend of this Democrat Congress and Administration.

Thats a first Putin defending capitalism. I almost agree with him except I don't trust him.
This bill was written by Peelosi, Reid and Baaarney Fwank. Odd is it not that 'obo' would allow his plebes to write his real piece of first legislation. Or perhaps, obama is the coward we all thought he was and if this goes belly up, he has a multitude of people he can blame: Bush, just for starters, Peelosi, Reid, and Fwank. Thankfully he can not blame the Republicans, well yes he can... We in deep shit.

It's sad when the King of the socialists Puddin' pants warns this IS socialism-and he should know! I can't understand what all the rush was about and then he takes 4 days off before signing it. I guess they started writing in the margins--this is a joke! And no one got to read it first. It's one broken promise after another, isn't it?

Rick, hahahaha I thought it sounded pretty scary too.
Here is a funny story.
One time during the Clinton presidency I was really upset. I had just gotten a banana from the kitchen and I was telling Nicholas how upset I was. I held the banana up and was squeezing it for dramatic effect but as I did that the sides of the banana opened up and all of a sudden the bananas was sliding out of the peel. Nick started laughing then I was laughing. Ever since then the joke is be careful of Chrissie if she does a rant and a banana is nearby.

LOL, Putin needs a capitalist America! :-) I knew that George Bush had sold the Chinese on a capitalist America being good for them but I thought the old KGB warhorses might still be too dense. Just as the Germans came to be horrified at having helped inflict Lenin on Russia Putin is living to regret what he has done.
Now which of faction of the Democrats will be the first to sober up to the catastrophe that they have perpetrated?
