Lots going on about Henrietta somebodyorother and her deadbeat son who hasn't had a job in forever who just got a house to live in - for free - from a Republican lawmaker - after she got front row seating at a BHO "rally" and begged him for her own kitchen. Here, more here [oh my gosh, check out some of the comments!], and here.
Read an excellent comment about how the $13.00 a week "stimulus" is going to improve someone's life, earlier this week. She said now she can get that new Swifter she's had her eye on. Ouch!

Well we just did our taxes and we found out we are paying for Henrietta's new kitchen. Curious George didn't waste any time spreading the wealth around.

Years ago a friend of mine told me about his father, a Russian Jew who fled his home for fear of persecution in the 1920's. He opened a gas station on New Jersey street on Buffalo's West Side, used to be a great section of town, all old victorian houses, tree lined streets, the whole 9 yards. Mr. Simon had been at that gas station for almost 45 years. He considered a normal work day as 12 hours, there was no overtime just extended hours when he stayed open til 10 PM. Then neighborhood started to change, drastically. One day when he opened up at 6 AM, he was met at the door by two black men with guns, they pushed him inside and demanded his money. He was 78 at the time and was never afraid of anyone. He looked them straight in the eye and said, "You want money, go get a job". Of course with that they pistol whipped him took what was in the cash drawer and ran off. He spent a week in the hospital. His son told him why not just give them the money, Mr. Simon said, "No I earned that money they have no right to it."
Things haven't changed much, that was 1978 or so I don't remember the date, but the point now, obama is holding us at gunpoint and robbing us. He has no right to demand our money. Millions for charity but no one penny for tribute.
