RNC Highlights Obama-Blagojevich Relationship
The Republican National Committee is launching a Web video tomorrow raising questions about past ties between Obama and Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D-Ill.).
The two-minute video, titled “Questions Remain,” puts pressure on the president-elect to disclose the contacts his transition team has had with Blagojevich. Obama said this week that he will soon be releasing a full list of conversations that members of his staff had with Blagojevich – but he has not yet done so.
At a press conference earlier this week, Obama said he never personally spoke to the governor about his successor in the Senate – but it now appears that his incoming chief of staff Rahm Emanuel had discussed several names with the governor.
Obama Actually Endorsed Blagojevich TWICE.
While Obama has never been close with the governor, the video points to several instances where they worked together as a matter of political convenience. After Blagojevich won the Democratic nomination for governor in 2002, Obama helped advise his campaign. (Obama supported one of Blagojevich’s opponents in the primary.)
And Obama endorsed Blagojevich when he ran for re-election in 2006 – a time when he was already under investigation over hiring and fundraising scandals. (A Green party candidate took 10 percent of the vote, highlighting Democrats’ dissatisfaction with him.)

Lame Duck president elect, I'd love that but the feckless members in both houses of Congress can't scrape up a pair amongst them to do what is right. Stop this process until Obama's qualifications are verified and ensure that he isn't implicated in that Chicago mess, which he is. He's their made man, and the media, short of Fox, is mum about doing their part to investigate the rumors(facts). Congress will mewl about then roll over for the Obama machine, SCOTUS will delay until after the swearing in then declare a victory claiming that a new precedent has been set. William O' Douglas was expert at the art, I did get drunk to celebrate his passage into hell. We haven't heard a peep of outrage from Jorge, he's too busy greasing the skids for his successor. There are too many RINO's that will side with the Dems when it gets down to the wire.

Lame duck president elect...a perfect description...and we know it will only get worse.
Lets pray that we can keep the damage to a minimum and win back the congress in 2010.

This, surprisingly, has seemed to knock some of the luster off of BHO. Most people realize that he crawled out of the same septic tank in Chicago where Blago lives. I doubt any connection will be made to Obama, but Rahm is in imminent danger of being used for bus traction. As the Justice Dept. continues to shine the flashlight around inside the septic tank, more of these BHO asociates will be dragged out into the light of day.

I agree with Jack. Obama will get a pass on all transgressions he has committed and will commit, and he won't even have to say any Hail Marys. He is teflon because the political machines of Chicago, Illinois and DC cover for him. The MSM covers for him.
Of course there is one kicker to my statement. Obama may have to watch his back very closely. Biden, Pelosi and Clinton would all like to move up one or two spots if Obama were to be booted out of office.

Jack, ditto all you said.
That really concerns me, that he gets sworn in and then they say oops we have to change the Constitution now and the weak Republicans go along with it.

James M. I agree I am praying for our country like I have never done before.

Jim Wareen, I think it has too, even just a little. It has been the very first time I saw reporters on all of the big news networks actually begin to be a little ticked at Obama. They are mad he is not answering the way they want to make sure he is sooooo innocent.
It was only for the moment but it did show up in the things they were saying. Of course they went right back into their defending Obama.

And the country's biggest RINO comes to Obama's defense.
McCain scolds GOP for whacking Obama

Tom, heh heh good one and I like that he would be nervous about that. I can't stand them either, but just to feel that he has to watch his back even a little makes it OK with me.

Les, thanks for the link. McCain is giving all of us the middle finger and to America too. It was so hard I am sure for Palin to hear McCain say how Obama was a man of honor while she was out on the campaign trail busting her butt speaking out about Obama. sheesh what a slap in the face to her that was and all from McCain.
