Meeting of Electors ~ What No One Fainting? No "Yes We Can" Chants?
RICHMOND, Va. (AP)
Presidential electors have formally elected Barack Obama the nation's 44th president.
Electors gathering in state capitols across the country have pushed Obama above the 270 electoral votes needed to win, according to a tally by The Associated Press.
Obama's election will not be complete until Congress tallies the outcome of Monday's Electoral College vote at a joint session in January.
November 4, 2008 - General Election: The voters in each State choose electors to serve in the Electoral College. As soon as election results are final, the States prepare seven or nine original “Certificates of Ascertainment” of the electors chosen, and send one original along with two certified copies (or three originals, if nine were prepared) to the Archivist of the United States.
December 15, 2008 - Meeting of Electors: The electors in each State meet to select the President and Vice President of the United States. The electors record their votes on six “Certificates of Vote,” which are paired with the six remaining original “Certificates of Ascertainment.” The electors sign, seal and certify the packages of electoral votes and immediately send them to the President of the Senate, the Archivist of the United States and other designated Federal and State officials.
December 24, 2008 - Deadline for Receipt of Electoral Votes: The President of the Senate, the Archivist of the United States, and other designated Federal and State officials must have the electoral votes in hand.
January 8, 2009 - Counting Electoral Votes in Congress:
Public Law 110-430 changed the date of the electoral vote in Congress in 2009 from January 6 to January 8. This date change is effective only for the 2008 presidential election.
The Congress meets in joint session to count the electoral votes (unless Congress passes a law to change the date).

Wild Thing's comment.........
Who is this guy? He is a subversive mole. the front man for a nefarious organiztion that understood how to pull off the biggest scam we've ever seen, and convince the sheeple part of the population that he is a good thing. The armies of the Night have won a major victory, but not the war.
I cannot believe what is happening to our country, how we got stuck with this lightweight socialist poseur with no real accomplishments in public life, etc.
I’ll treat him like the marxist he is, regardless. But I will not acknowledge his existence as POTUS , he can't even show respect for our Constitution and prove he is eligible with a valid birth certificate. He will NEVER Be my president.
Dec. 15th , Monday, yesterday was the 217th Birthday of the Bill Of Rights. How ironic. it that!

I'll give PEBO the same respect and courtesy that him and his followers gave President Bush.

Yeah, I don't know if the Bill of Rights will live to see 220.
I am sure the Great Coverup will continue, but even the MSM and the DNC are going to have trouble hiding this guy's past as he begins to disappoint the sheeple. When Kaneesha doesn't get her mortgage paid and her free gas she is going to whine. He promised too much to too many and he has too many skeltons in the closet.
I also think Michelle Obama is going to aggravate a lot of people as her bridle comes off. It also would not be surprising if a lot of his appointments become controversial. Cronyism hurt Bush. Most of Obama's cronies are more than incompetent. They are downright criminals and anti-American.

Zilch PEBO!!! PC, No!!! What the heck is that growth on that camel's back, some new parasitic subspecie? Maybe we can get Mr. Hillary's sperm bank, that other black president, to give up another DNA test for verification that they are not related to PEBO, he's now part of PEBO's family tree by proxy. No need for cronyism, they have nepotism, they be family. Like a can of nightcrawlers, once you peel off the soil covering them, there they are, the left, a slimy mess of life, begging one question, are they clones or are they just from the same gene pool? Gee whiz Tyrone, it's getting harder to tell Lucretia from Excretia when they comes in for they giveaway monies. Isiah 25:4. The land of the free, for how long?

We need to be practical.
First people cannot be excused for just whining and doing nothing. The minimum should be a dollar a week to defend the constitution. I know many people who complain about crooked politicians but give nothing to the better ones.
Second State legislators who do not vote for a requirement for a citizenship check before any candidate gets in a primary or caucus should have financed opposition.
In other words NEVER AGAIN!

Hey, haven't been here, took a vacation from politics.
I'm from Illinois, and I feel like I've been run over by a steam roller.
If you've been following the Blagodrama, you probably can see that the Chicago machine has held this state hostage for about 60 years. Now the rest of the country can see how frustratingly deep the corruption runs.
We are not amused here downstate. BTW downstate is everything that is south of Chicago. I have wished for most of my adult life that Chicago would just be their own state. I hate it there. People are rude. It's impossible to drive and not get run down on the tollways. But most of all, watching and KNOWING what is going on there and having no recourse except to try and do the right thing at election time (we are Republican in this county). Sorry, but a dollar a day from everyone in this state couldn't beat the machine. But I get your drift. Everyone needs to be involved an get informed. But they won't.
At least now some of the players will go down. I don't know why they said the day the Governor was arrested was a sad day for Illinois. Bullony, it was a day of great celebration! We have wanted rid of that bastard for years.
I love the camel pic...lol. I'll go catch up now. Just needed a soap box moment for my Illinois rant.
Have a good one!

I agree with BobF and will give soon to be IPBO (Illegitimate President Barack Obama) all the same respect and courtesy that he, the Dems, and MSM gave George Bush these last eight years. It is important that all reference to President Barack Obama be "Illegitimate President Barack Obama" from now on. Hopefully, as cracks appear in his armor, this will catch on.

Our son is home from college on CHRISTMAS break. He saw my old U.S. Luftwaffe stuff in the attic. He liked the Operation Desert Shield / Storm tee shirts: "GO TO HELL SADDAM... I'd fly 5,000 miles to smoke a camel! ... These colors never run..."
Our son thought we had WON the Gulf War... So did I! I thought we'd won the Cold War at one time too. We are falling from WITHIN and this is a fact Bear Nation!

BobF, I agree, after 8 years of Bush being called every name in the book, Nazi etc. those for Obama better know their karma is coming home to roost.
Posted by: Wild Thing at December 16, 2008 05:53 PM
Tom, yes Obama has all horrible cronies. I wonder if he knows even one person that has honor, and loves our country. Just one, but I don't think he wants those kind of people in his life.

Jack, LOL that growth is left over from the kids bicycle I had him on in another graphic. I was trying to make it look like a camel bicycle.
LMAO
Jack, I bet the left thinks this only pertains to dinner time...oh no wait.....it is more like they are waiting for government handouts.

Avitar, I agree so much, it is so important to be as supportive as possible to the good ones and also encourage them too when they do take a stand.
Regarding Obama and his birth certificate or any one ever running again for office I agree too.
It is interesting and I did not know this till last week. There were several lawsuits that were filed during the campaign. So people did start to ask and question all the way back to when they found out abot this Obama jerk. Before that only those in Illinois knew much about him even exisiting as far as I know.

Hi Eden, it is so good to see you.
I was born in Illinois and lived there till I was 18 when I went out on my own with college etc.
I agree at least 60 years it has been corrupt in Chicago, and oh yes even further then that, before any of us were even born, all the back as far as Capone too it was really corrupt back then.

Les,yes, I konw but gosh I am tired of waiting for the media to get fed up with this guy.

LOL I love othat he likes those shirts too.
I agree Darth, we are being taken over from within.

You have to have a license to drive, but ANYONE can be President evidently.
Posted by: Eden at December 16, 2008 06:49 PM
Chrissie, it is because of you and the others who post here that our country will not fail. We may have just had our asses kicked by the 5th column because the Repubs became Dumbocrats but we will win out in the long run. And like I said the other day, O'Vomit may be the next President but he will never be my President. Fuck him!

"Above all, we must realize that no arsenal or no weapon in the arsenals of the world is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women.
