Obama Wants Israel Back to 1967 Borders
President-elect Barack Obama intends to pursue a Mideast peace policy that calls on Israel to revert to its pre-1967 borders in return for official diplomatic recognition by the Arab world.
A senior Obama adviser told the London Times that Obama will throw his support behind a 2002 Saudi peace initiative that also has been endorsed by Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, the Arab League, and Israeli President Shimon Peres.
Under the plan:
* Israel would be able to veto the return of Arab refugees expelled in 1948.
* Israel would restore the Golan Heights to Syria.
* Palestinians would be allowed to establish a state capital in east Jerusalem.
According to the senior adviser, Obama has said privately that Israel would be "crazy" to reject such a plan, since it would "give them peace with the Muslim world."

Obama sure plans to throw Israel under the bus. The whole thing is a bad deal. Giving back the Golan heights is suicide.

He sure is! Israel means nothing to him because he has no Jewish blood. The Israelites were given that land not only by God but by the UN after WW2. It's not up to us to change that. I suppose he'll come after us white folks too and move us to certain areas of North America for our own good too, just like the Indians. He doesn't know what he's getting his hands into. He seems to be getting dumber and dumber with each passing day.

Israel has had to fight ever since it's statehood in 1948. Now with a new American president about to pull the rug from under Israel, she may be in the direst fight for her existence.
We have learned from the Gaza turnover that ceding land to the arabs only leads to more unrest. It would be suicide to give up the Golan Heights. I think Obama knows this.
If countries like Syria and Iran perceive Israel to be weakening that can only lead to more war. Israel will do what she has to in order to survive. That means using whatever weapons on whatever foe. Obama's kumbaya B--S--t makes the world more dangerous.
