Just imagine what it was like back in the 70's for Obama's white grandparents? Back then, interracial marriages weren't accepted like they are today. This is the woman who changed her life to accommodate him and when he was in Hawaii, he didn't even have the decency to bring his family when he visited her. Now, he doesn't even have the decency to honor her at the funeral.

Grandmother Dunham is important only when it serves Obama's purpose. That she sacrificed to raise him is not important to him now. Besides, she is part of the White side of his family that he has publically chosen to disassociate himself from.

I was having a senior moment earlier and couldn't remember a name. Paul Wellstone, Obama has the same respect for his grandmother that Wellstone's family had, they turned his wake into a pro-Commmunist rally. I looked up the stats in two papers that confirmed the obit date as Nov 3, it is unusual for the body to lie in state for as long as Madelyn Dunham has, that is perplexing unless the authorities were waiting for dipshit to attend the ceremony, she was interred at Punchbowl, a hallowed place. SSgt Steve may have a point there.

Of course Barack Obama didn't attend the memorial service for his grandmother. The election is over and the first affirmative-action, African-American (aka black), and openly racist President-elect doesn't need to exploit his white grandmother anymore to win votes. The fact that Barack Obama did not set an example of real family values and respect in his daughters by attending the memorial service of their great grandmother with them says a lot about the future President's character. This is not surprising considering that this POS also exposed them to the most vile racist and anti-American rhetoric from Rev. Jeremiah Wright at weekly sermons during the very early and formative years of their lives.

You know, at the time I was hesitant to be cynical, but deep down I was rather suspicious of Obama randomly jetting off to Hawaii in the middle of his campaign when she was ill.

My personal opinion is that Hussein Infanticide Obama may have gone to Hawaii a few days before her death to make sure that she dies on the scheduled day and time just before election day,..think about it,..She just happens to die just before the election of her Grandson to the most powerful leadership position on Earth ?
