Obama Elected He will Be Number 44
Obama - elected
Murtha - elected
Kerry - elected
.
Wild Thing's comment...........
I have gone through all the emotions. I cried, then got mad, then cried again (a girl thing) then got mad once again. I wore myself out doing all of that, then I sat here and just sat, starring at my screen. I don't know how long, at least well over an hour. I started to think of how hard everyone worked, of our troops, how much Sarah lit up the audiences and the campaign with fire and passion and conservative views on things so dear to all of us. How even McCain toward the end started to speak about Pelosi, Reid and Barney Frank being corrupt. And going after Obama about the 2001 video and what he said about the Constitution and spread the wealth around.
Between each thought I kept going back to our troops, and to our Veterans. More then anyone else in our country they deserve the best we can give them for a President, for a Commander in Chief. Someone who will look them square in the eyes and tell them he is grateful for all their scarifies and service to our country and mean it, not just empty words. I thought of President Bush and how he had genuinely had tears in his eyes when he visited our wounded troops. How Bush even with his mistakes does love America and is glad to be an American. How I miss Ronald Reagan and what it felt like when he was President.
I thought of what changes would come first, how quickly will they happen. There is no answer to this, it will just have to be something I live through and see what the challenges will be that we have to face.
McCain/ Palin had to run against three things. The left's hatred for President Bush and any Republican running with an R by their name. Secondly Obama and his campaign machine backed by numerous questionable sources. And third the Media working as a HUGE part of the Obama campaign. If McCain and Palin had won it would have been a hell of a lot more historical then what Obama pulled off being the first half black man to become President.
There is something else to think about too, those we know that have someone serving our country. First there is Sarah and Todd's son, and John and Cindy's two sons, then Lynn has relatives and Yankeemom and John also has I believe a son in law serving, Rhod has 3 sons, you all know on here and others. All having concerns too about Obama being the CIC.
We have tuff things coming up with Obama, the Fairness Doctrine, the Judges picked, the National Civilian Army, our National Security and Israel, the war, our troops so many things. Obama proposes a trillion dollars of NEW socialist programs paid for through punitive taxes on the very people and businesses that drive our economy and provide jobs for America's workers.
The people have spoken and they want Communism.
We did not win, America did not win, but I also prayed, God knows how hard everyone worked on this election to get McCain/Palin a win too. Could it be this election results purpose is to bring about an uprising of conservatism across our land after 4 years like this nation has never seen? We do have a ton of rino's to purge, a GOP that has for sure lost it's way. Sarah Palin is in the wings and we must remember that. There will be ways of letting her know we support her I am sure during these next 4 years. There is also Mike Pence and some others, good strong conservatives that must be just as upset as we all are.
We are conservatives, we are warriors, and America itself has not let us down. The voters have and their stupidity and their vote for Obama.
We just have to see what we can do to fight back. And keep supporting the conservatives we do have like Sarah and the others.
This wasn’t an election, it was an IQ test for the U.S.; and sadly we just failed. Here’s what happens when you dumb down America and media outlets shift from being news reporters to Democratic activists. This Socialist/Marxist is going to do so much damage in the next 4 years to this country. The reason why we lost is because the electorate doesn’t realize the danger socialism poses. Our public education system and our liberal university professors have successfully indoctrinated our populace to see socialism, not as evil, but utopian. They’ve taught us the evils of capitalism and the arrogance of America.
Our country has been dipping its toes in the frigid pond of socialism for many years, testing those waters, flirting with them by those on the left. Now it’s going to jump into that pond stark naked. It will learn its lesson once those freezing waters hit. I don't think a lot of those who voted for Obama will like it one bit.
Obama is the tip of the spear of the world wide communist movement, which I believe is the politicall manifestation of Satan himself. I will never accept a guy who hung out with terrorists planning for the deaths of millions of Americans. This guy isn’t even eligible for a security clearance.
More then anything we must never give up. I love America so much.

Lock and load? More like condition 1 at port arms.
To all those who voted for the obammymessiahcrybabycommiescumbagtraitor, I no longer consider you my fellow countrymen due to your betrayal in electing this dirtbag.
Everything that goes bad from this day forward is now obammy's fault. It works both ways.
And when you loose your job due to high business taxes and all that environmental garbage, don't blame me. I voted Republican.

Yes, we must look at everything this character does and says and keep posting it out there. We have to find a way to get to a wider audience. I too voted Repuplican and am proud to say it. I wonder, how many coal miners or others in the coal industry cast early votes and cast those votes for Obama?

First of all-sorry for my broken english.I am not American.I lived in communist country for more than half of my life-and I clearly can guess is someone communist or not(by hearing only one his speech).Communists have killed half of my family before,so I hate them and wish they will burn in hell for all their atrocities.
Obama is marxist-Obama is one man who will destroy your country.Today all parts of the world and countries that hate USA are glad to see this new prsident, because behind him stay their money, and their interests.Only thing that you can do is to wait and beleive that this bulshit will not suceed to destroy all things that has been build in yours country for next 300 years.
And to fight.Fight against this socialist bastard. You have to fight for freedom. For last years your American people have forgotten that Freedom is not something that have been put from above-Freedom needs casualtes, needs fight, needs pain.
Let the power of Freedom be with Yours!

I can't understand Murtha getting reelected after he calls his constituents racist redneck white trash. But, seeing they continually reelect him, maybe that's what they are.
We knew if McCain was elected, we wouldn't have a conservative in the White House. It's possible that after election, McCain would have denigrated Palin to menial tasks and appearances. It could have been like another FDR/Turman relationship where FDR treated Truman like a dunce and kept him in the dark on everything.

I told hubby this morning through tears that we needed to upgrade me from a .38 to a 9mm. I'm more afraid of the uneducated blacks who want a hand out than the educated ones. I'm still tearing up. I will for a while. We most morn our loss, then do as Joe Biden said, "gird our loins" because its going to be a bumpy 4 years.

First of all, I want to extend my sincerest and heartfelt thanks to you Chrissie as well as all of the rest of you TRUE Americans on here!!!! Each of you contributed so much and are to be commended for your efforts. We may have lost the battle, but we can't afford to lose the war!!!!!!! In 2 years, we have to make sure Conservatives regain Congressional seats and quit giving them to the Dems!!! If Obama ever gets a majority in the Senate, all hell will break loose!!!!
I am deeply saddened by this turn of events but I refuse to go down without a fight!!!! I will continue to do everything I can to help, aide, and assist all true conservatives and Americans!!! It is my duty and honor as a FREE American!!!!!
Remember what Tom Hanks said in "A League of Their Own"......"Crying? Are You Crying? There is No Crying in Baseball!!!!" And Yoda said in Starwars....."Try? Try? There is no try....Only do or not do". So now we all have to reach down and work even harder to ensure that this wonderful, great country isn't lost to the liberal, PC idiots!!!!
I would like to see us come together as a group and focus on the future. Let us review and analyze how a complete "Nobody" can come out of nowhere, knock off Hillary and defeat McCain to become president of the United States.
I would love to see everyone's take on how Obama was successful in this election. I think two areas that hurt McCain (among many) was his age (young people had problems relating to him and visa versa) and the country's total hate for G.W. which Obama played brilliantly. We have to learn from the past if we are to prevent making the same mistakes in the future.
Chrissie, maybe you could have a sub-group where we can all go to and chat more about this. That way it wouldn't interfere with your regular posts.
I love all of you and will never leave this site!!!!! Thanks again for everything Chrissie and all of your supporters.
Finally, I agree with you totally Chief. If you need an extra hand on a cannon or powder for the same, let me know!!!!! (smiles)

To Jo above:
God bless you for your thoughts. But effective self-defense handguns start with a 4. LOL. A 9mm is underpowered for the present situation. Get at least a 40 S&W. Just my opinion. And Jeff Cooper's, and most everybody I know who shoots.

I really like what the Grizzly Teddy Bear said today:
We now have the opportunity to put a face on Socialism. We only had this opportunity with foreign tyrants, yet today, we have that opportunity with the highest office in our land. I am excited and optimistic that what they mean for evil, God turns to good!
Refocusing on our backyards, is what we have to do in the coming days. We must simply develop our networks, expand our presence on this new media and lift up our conservative neighbor. Awakening, Standing Up, and Stepping into Action will effect our political landscape in our local backyards.......We must come together, the fight is at hand and we must lay down our firm foundation today and onward. Many generations to come are depending upon our talent, our skill and our commitment to this movement. Do not let our children’s children down!
God Bless you, our troops and America!

As a gun owner, this man scares me to the core. He will do things only Clinton wish he could. I predict, not just a ban, but confiscation of assault weapons, banning of the right to carry conceal, and the turning over of the Heller decision. My days hunting, sport shooting, and the ability to protect my family are numbered.
Oh, Jo -- there isn't much difference between 9mm and .38 spcl, other than capacity. If you want to up grade in effectiveness, they get a .40 or .45 cal. However, both .38 and 9mm are both effective rounds for self-defense. My opinion of course.

A rough road ahead for conservative thinking people. The Dems and the media registered people who normally would not vote. The RNC is dead. McCain waited too long to campaign and he was a poor choice. The media was blatantly and unapologetically bias for Obama. Obama lied so much most of his lies became contradictions of previous lies. But those lies impressed a lot of people. Voter fraud. Anti Bush sentiment far and wide.
These are just some of the reasons Obama won. There is also the long term effect now of liberal education in the schools and the trend toward looking to big government for everything. I fear it will get worse. I also fear the damage Obama and the Dems are going to do will be pretty much irreversible.
We are living in a time of change in America. Socialism for the masses. Globalization for the elite. Loss of national sovereignty. We have seen it coming. It is now here. Sad. Those of us who lived in the 50's and 60's have seen America at it's zenith. We had a brief ressurgence in the 80's under Reagan, but it has been downhill ever since.
I know I sound pessimistic. But, it is more than just the event of the moment. We have been watching this slide toward socialism for twenty years. Maybe there will be a bright light in the future. People like John Bolton and Sarah Palin come to mind. But there has to be an organization to support them and the RNC right now is not that entity.
Pray, and buy ammo while you can.
Jo - A Model 1911 in .45acp caliber is the gun I recommend. It has less muzzle flip than a .40 and a larger bullet. It is one of the most popular handguns around.

You know this is the last thing I wanted to see, but what’s done is done and now it’s time to stand our ground to make sure we don’t lose what we have.
It’s time to walk the walk and forget finger pointing there is to bloody much
to protect. This calls for action not lip service. Blame?? There is plenty to go around, but I lay it at the feet of George Bush and the Republicans as a group. As for Bush his first administration was spot on, as for the second
It was a disaster and the last two years, hell where was he?? I worked in an
Industry where Leadership was everything with out it you had a good chance to lose your life!! There are leaders you would follow into hell with
5 gallons of gas and a match. Not Bush. And come on folks the best we could muster was 32% of Republicans voted, 29% of independents voted
that shows why we lost. It’s time to move on we have work to do and I
hope we can do better than 32%

It took me a while before I could put up a post too, Chrissie.
I, too, have gone through all the emotions and I don't think I'm quite done yet. The Republicans lost this for those of us who lean conservative.
I lived through the Carter years and the Clinton years. We'll get through this, and very possibly come out on the other side better than ever. We have a couple of generations who haven't been without. Well, I'm thinking they have some teachable moments ahead ~ and disappointments.
But I have to tell you, having two soldiers of my own, my fight for those in uniform has been ramped up a thousand-fold and gone to the top of the list.
Today I mourn. Tomorrow I put on my battle rattle and fight. And the day after that and day after that until we get our country back.
God Bless you, Chrissie and the other commentors on here - we need to hold together. We'll need each others strength, more than ever.
I'm proud to "know" you all ~

I agree with you Tincan Sailor. Bush would address the Congress and the MSM. However, he seldom talked to the people. He is not a leader. Under his watch we lost the Congress. He seems almost reclusive from the public.
The President is supposed to be the leader of the country and his party. Bush conceded that to the media and the Dem leadership. Bush did a few good things, but overall I think he was a poor quality president. Obama's victory has to be considered part of the Bush legacy.

One of Barack Hussein Obama's first acts of change as dictator is:
Obama Offers Rahm Emanuel Job of White House Chief of Staff
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/11/obama-offers-ra.html
For those who don't know Rahm Emanuel,
The legend of Rahm
Was Rahm Emanuel the reason the Democrats took back the House in the 2006 election? A Chicago reporter makes the case.
http://www.salon.com/books/feature/2007/05/08/rahm_emanuel/print.html
He wanted to wrap up the campaign with a message for the Republicans.
"Since my kids are gone, I can say it," he shouted. "They can go fuck themselves!"
So, to John McCain and George Bush who lavished praise on Obama, I say NO! I will neither support nor respect this despicable individual who is out to destroy the United States of America from within.
-------------------------------------------------
Please excuse me repeating my comment from the previous post from last night but I am so upset by this national suicidal act by the electorate that I share my grief to those who feel the same and may not have seen it...........
November 4, 2008 is "a date which will live in infamy" in the history of the United States. A majority of voters, exercising their right to be stupid, elected an affirmative-action, anti-American racist and socialist as president who has a narcissistic personality disorder with a G-d complex. It is the first day in my life that I am not proud of my country. In fact, I am ashamed of my country for spitting on the graves of all who fought and sacrificed their lives to protect our Constitution, democracy, and freedoms. Germany had it's Hitler and the United States with it's deficient public education system never learned from the mistakes of history and now has a Barack Hussein Obama who will change the country for the worse.

Thank you Chrissie, Nick and all of team Theodore. We lost the nation last night but we lost it with honor. We all feel bad, but think about how bad Sarah Palin feels, bruised, abused and discarded with her life and her family's life turned upside down. That took unbelievable courage and we should all recognize her for that. Even in defeat John reached around to congratulate the enemy, look at Lieberman John, dead man walking comes to mind. Those who blindly voted with their emotions without doing their home work might rue the results of this election, once they get the tab.
It's a dwindling trough so belly up while you can. Don't ever forget who covered up and protected this charlatan's ascension to power, the MSM. There are still too many unknowns from his birth to his associations with Anarchists, Muzzies and Communists and like all here I fear repercussions and vindictive reprisals against conservatives, just because we are.
One thing they can accomplish now is to lower the voting age to 6 (least common denominator)and establish that Sturmabteilung militia they want.
Already Russia is rattling it's sabers over Poland, well deja-vu, it's the Kennedy-Carter test already, not in the first 6 months as promised but the first 12 hours, this piece of Zebra afterbirth has already been challenged. Talk to 'em Hussein, unilaterally and without preconditions, Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvedev are fellow Communists, they'll listen.
How long does it take for the police to respond in your area? One thing I've observed during unrest is that they all head for the major distraction en mass as if Dunkin Donuts just opened for a free snack, leaving the fringe areas vulnerable. That said, you're on your own until someone arrives and that is only if someone calls them, city response times are 10 minutes or more, in my case 30 minutes to 6 years for a response, if they show at all.
Jo, I'm a firm believer of never taking a weapon out of it's holster in anger but if you must , make every hit count, use whatever you have on hand but place each shot it in vital areas. That aggressor isn't there to make nice with you. That .22 looks like a 16" howitzer if you are looking into the barrel of one. I prefer the 12 Ga pump, no plug, with alternate Buck/Slug loads for homework and the .357 Mag DA and .45 ACP for personal protection both have the stopping power and less recoil, that .40 is sweet but like the .45ACP it takes concentration to control it. Gun control is hitting the target, you can practice center mass all day long but that "pumpkin on a stick" that takes out the lights is the only shot that counts. Big is better but worthless if you can't control it, heavies like the .44 Mag and .454 are for me hard to control that's why I don't own one.
I'm not so much a pessimist than I'm a pragmatic realist. Trust those instincts, who wears their Black Panther uniform and a visible nightstick to the polls unless they are looking to start trouble? Who said get in their face? Communists!!! Obama gave them that mandate he hasn't withdrawn that mandate so they'll feel obligated to push the envelope.

Everybody stop panicking! You too Chrissy Wild Thing, even though I love your blog!
Don't you all remember the Jimmy Carter years? I was just a punk kid then and I remember them (although my real punk rocker phase came in in the 1980's). Surely all the great Vietnam Vets who post here remember them. The deck was even more stacked against us patriots then.
Domestically: The military was held in much more widespread contempt. The Left's stranglehold on the Media was even more pervasive then. Economically, the nation had *wage and price controls* in place--something unthinkable except for the commie-est of Commiecrats today. No talk radio and no bloggers, just the bias of the Three Networks.
It was a much more child and family hostile society then. When kids like me were depicted on TV and in the movies, we were depicted as possessed by Satan, for goodness sake, when we were not delinquents or proto adults a la Gary Coleman. And believe me, they didn't call it "politically correct" Leftist indoctrination then, but it was in the school system then too. Good god, it was a musical age of first androgynous glam and then Roller Disco, and you could only play so much AC/DC and Lynrd Skynrd in response to that. It was a time of gays coming out of the closet, and most of my peers watching their parents divorce, a good many of them even watching their parents become "swingers".
Domestic Politics? We had half-hearted Republican opposition a la Gerald Ford, going along to get along, many playing along with the farce of detente, some (like Nixon) even imposing governmental edicts like Affirmative Racism and Wage and Price Controls.
Internationally? The Soviet Empire was much more menacing and much more sophisticated than the primitive Moon-God Murderers we face today. The ChiCom rulers really were ChiComs, rather than the crypto-fascists (private enterprise under state control) that they have morphed into today.
Why do I bring all this up? Because if you look at what we know about the Obamunist policies, it looks like the Carter Era all over again. Generation Y was not even born in the Carter era, and they are starting to vote naively for "hope and change". They will learn the hard way. What are we up against, Jimmy Carter in ethnic face:
--"Windfall profits" taxes on corporations. There are not enough "Super Rich" individuals to go around, so his taxes on those who earn over x dollars will fall on corporations. When anyone with half a brain knows that taxing corporations is foolhardy, they are already taxed at the shareholder level, and they just pass the costs on to everyone in higher prices when they can, or pack it up and leave the nation when they can't.
--More failed welfare statism
--More failed appeasement abroad (DISCLAIMER: yes, those of you who are active duty can disregard this part of the pep talk; you may be in for some real hard times)
--Even the race-baiting is nothing new. I vividly remember Rosalyn Carter's smear that Uncle Ron Reagan "made us comfortable with our prejudices". Jesse Jackson was treated with the utmost of deference and respect, as opposed to the baby abandoning conman and corporate shakedown artist, and racist hypocrite we all know he is today.
I predict the same revolting results, and a Resurgent Roots Republican Revolt in 2010 and 2012. If we get back to our roots, that is.
Let's face it, a good many of our Republicans turned out to be duds. Wide stances in bathrooms, bridges to nowhere and kickbacks to homebuilder donors, amnesty for that sweet and cheap chiquita maid -- ALL of that hurt a good many Republicans and revealed that too many of our own were out of touch. (Yes, Wall Street Journal open border greedheads, that means you)
Yes, 2009-2010 will be a rough ride, but probably no more rough than 1993-1994, and certainly less rough than 1977-1980.
At least, that is what I am telling myself. :-)

AS FOR WHAT WE NEED TO DO TO WIN IN 2010: (hat tip to another blogger for the ideas)
1. No more "compassionate conservatives". No more "mavericks". No more "my friends, I reach across the aisle" selling out. The NCLB Act, more prescription drug entitlements, calls for open borders, reaching out to Iman so-and-so from such-and-such mosque... didn't fare so well, huh?
2. A hearty "up yours" to those talking heads who first wanted McCain, but then shunned him (and the rest of us). Christo, David Frum, and Peggy Noonan in particular. They want a new type of conservative, which sounds suspiciously like a mix between Demunist Lite and the Maverick. The voters, when given a choice between a cheap imitation Demunist and the real thing Demunist will always take the real thing. Co-opting their identity will not get it done, and even if it does, what's the point?
3. I don't hate McCain, and I don't see the point in second guessing his campaign. That being said, I'm still not sure what he was running as (other than Maverick). And I have this lingering feeling I'm really going to be upset with him now that he's back in the Senate, reminded of all the reason I didn't want him getting the nomination in the first place.
4. Our primary process needs an overhaul. Seems to me that we now have a choice between having the guy that agriculture subsidy queens in Iowa want, or the guy that libs and moderates in NH want. Closed Primaries, a more spaced out and less front loaded primary process, no caucuses, no "open primaries" which are just ripe for sabotage.
5. Obama found a winner with that "tax cut for 95%" nonsense. It makes me sad that this guy bought votes with the money of a lot of people who post here. The public's embrace of this is scary, and I fear they won't reject the freebies once they get a taste. Maybe the whole thing about limiting the voting to landowners wasn't such a bad idea.
6. We still have a chance to resist in the Senate. "Working across the aisle" sounds great, but sucks hard when the other side controls the agenda. Specifically, immigration reform needs to be opposed. Mass immigration of unskilled workers will never benefit Republicans, unless the Republican fiscal platform is made unrecognizable. Then again, we've been doing a pretty good job of that already. Unskilled immigrants ain't voting for us, their kids ain't voting for us, and they ain't gonna start. We will never compete with Dem freebies. Again Wall Street Journal greedheads, get a clue.
7. This guy can be beat in 2012. He was successful in fooling people into thinking he was a moderate. The people elected an image, but now the man will have to govern. I hope people pay attention, and not just to the old media.
8. Republicans need to ditch the old media. They need to be treated as part of the opposition, because they are. Don't know where else Republicans can go, but they need to start working on a plan.
Now I feel just a little bit better...

First, I want to say thank you for this blog. Second, I am saddened by my countries move to the left. Most people are just morons and are lead like sheep to the slaughter. It's unfortunate that we must live for the next 4 years with a President that thinks sharing an ice cream cone will soften the hearts of terrorists. Not! The conservative, moral people are the glue that holds this country together.
On the brighter side our political system has checks and balances in place. And if the interest rate sky rockets, then so does our money in the bank.
God Bless America not gd America!

Jack, good advice on the weaponry.
Don't forget why McCain was called "The Maverick". He was given that name because he went against his own party, especially Conservative principals. It's too bad Sarah Palin picked up on it and started to refer to herself as a Maverick.

No tears for you Wild Thing...Lady Liberty is crying on Ellis Island, close to where the twin towers used to be seen...The sellouts have chosen the evil ISMS: secularism, socialism, communism, atheism, humanism and materialism! It's all in 2 Timothy 3:1-9...to the last word!"But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient...Have nothing to do with them." Red states have turned blue and all for welfare and individual NEED$!

Yes, GM Cassel Lock and load, I didn't know the Navy knew anything about the Manuale of Arms anyway. Port Arms is usually orderd for double time, but I digress.
I didn't watch any TV last night hoping against hope that we could pull this thing out. When I turned the computer on at 6 am I saw to my disbelief that the commie had won.
Where do we go from here, who knows. DC says to fall back and regroup. Win in 2010 a bunch in the Senate and take obama's power away from him.
My question is regroup to where to what ? The RNC aleady said the era of Reagan is over and proceeded to dismantle the Conservative wing of the Party saying in effect that they don't need the religious right. I don't know how many showed up to vote but the message was clear from the party big shots.
The obamabots bought into this 95% tax cuts but they are all brain dead. Anyone with half a brain can see this is nothing but smoke and mirrows. Ogbama said as much at Grant Park in Chicago at which point the crowd went dead on him. 'OMG we got to suffer too.' Thats what ogbama promised that, to spread the wealth and also equally spread the misery.
At this point we as a party are in complete disarray and leaderless. Sarah Palin would be a great leader but I wouldn't blame her if she never set foot on Conus or the lower 48 ever again. Her own party was trashing her. Every single rally she was at she drew huge crowds they didn't come to see McCain they came to see her and what she had to say.
So until we get a legitimate leader forget it we are going nowhere. I can't get over that the American people actually elected this moron. He will get at least 2 SCOTUS appointments and with 54 dumbasses in the Senate they will slide through without any vasoline.
So if anyone is to blame for this it is the Republican National Committee. That is as far ahead as I can think right now.
Somebody said, it is going to be bumpy for the next few years, boy is that ever an understatement. It will be hell on earth if this maggot gets half of what he wants. God help us.

Bob,yes, I thought about that, how the coal miners that voted early and would have loved to change their vote from Obama to McCain.

Bulgarian, I am so sorry what the communists did to your family, so terribly sorry.
"Communists have killed half of my family before,so I hate them and wish they will burn in hell for all their atrocities."
We that voted against Obama are strong and many, just not enough of us to keep him from being elected. But we will never give up the fight for Freedom.
Thank you Bulgarian for commenting and for the rest of your comment as well. It is always nice to meet a like minded person in this world.

BobF, I agree, Murtha getting elected again shocked the heck out of me too. I guess those who live in his area and who voted for him like to be mistreated and called names.

Jim, thank you and God bless you too.

Lynn, I agree, I was thinking also what if later on heh heh, people call and say why aren't you putting gas in my car, why aren't you paying my house payment.
Posted by: Wild Thing at November 5, 2008 07:36 PM
Willie, that is probably very true. And the ones thinking Obama will be moderate, gosh they sure are going to be very disappointed.

Cheryl, thank you, yes it sure is a wake up. A real shocker for sure.

John, yes it was probably the things you mentioned and other things. But yes for sure the anger that so many have at Bush, the age factor like you said too.
I just never saw anything like how the media was campaigning for Obama from day one and so intensly.

"This wasn’t an election, it was an IQ test for the U.S.; and sadly we just failed"..... I don't think I could sum it up any better than that. That's one of the reasons that after I found this blog I kept coming back, I love your comments Chrissie. You can put into words what I am thinking but not able to put into words myself.
As disappointed as I am, I think that my son is even more disappointed. It was his first time voting and being on the losing side wasn't something he wanted but being on the losing side to Barack Hussein Obama was something he didn't think could happen! I actually had to calm him down last night. I told him not to forget how he feels now and to find ways to right the wrong that just befell our country.
The mental image of commissar Obama sitting in the "white house" selling out our country, or just giving it away was making me sick. Then I realized that as much as I hated that image an even worse one entered my mind.... Michelle Obama in the "white house" on her anti-white power trip running thru the halls laughing and cackling like an old witch screaming "affimative action! affirmative action! I swear to God the first time I see her "fist bump" the leader of one of our allies, I'm going to HURL!!!!

Maybe next time the Republicans should nominate a Republican!!
Take heart; Carter led to Reagan. Obama will lead to ??

"The reason why we lost is because the electorate doesn’t realize the danger socialism poses. Our public education system and our liberal university professors have successfully indoctrinated our populace to see socialism, not as evil, but utopian. They’ve taught us the evils of capitalism and the arrogance of America."
That is all true, but you forget one thing, namely the slow de-Americanization because of a growing immigration. As an immigrant myself I see it only too clearly. Most first and second generation of immigrants from Europe, Africa, Middle East and Latin/South America who acquire the right to vote, no longer have the American spirit, because the culture they come from is preserved and no longer assimilated. Too bad; but America is becoming less and less ... America.
I say this with pain in my heart, because I wish it wasn't true...

Hey Ed,
It is not only the recent immigrants. Socialism in our educational system has permeated most of our young people. Don't try to excel and rise above the crowd, join the crowd and bring any hope of excellence down to that level. If you don't sucseed the government will take from those that do and hand it to you. You made a very good point. Pardon mky spelling.

Go read-
http://hotair.com/archives/2008/11/05/the-mccotter-challenge-why-is-there-a-republican-party/
It won't end todays pain but it will help starting the focus for 2010. Look, we are wearing the yoke of socialism and will be for the foreseeable future and maybe longer is we don't stop whining and start acting. We compromised away control of the schools- now government re-education centers. We compromised on border integrity. Given up basic freedoms in exchange of trinkets and empty promises. We continue to re-elect the same weasels time and time again.
No more. It is time to re-learn the principals of conservatism. Teach them to our children and grandchildren. Live those principals. Take the time to teach your children what the Declaration of Independence means. Teach them well because I am certain that the government schools will not. As a conservative I feel certain that we are loosing the hearts and minds of American youth. This may well be the last generation that has a chance to restore this country.
It is time to get in the face of those craven bastards that purport to represent us. US! As in We The People. Get involved and stay involved. Do not compromise. Do not make your last stand the final effective fire in your front yard.
God Bless America.
Thank you, Chrissie for the us of your forum

That's what we were thinking, too, is the stupid people will send their car payments, mortgage stubs, utility bills, etc to the White House and they won't get paid. Obama won't be able to do anything he promised because we don't have the money and we just simply can't go print more without backing it up first.
I also think the bailout might have been a ruse by the liberal media to kill McCain's election. They pick the President you know. Just wait until he takes away Freedom of the Press and they can't write or speak in any way they see fit. They'll turn on him, too. Just wait and see.
